High school. Most everyone has things they love and hate about it. In this episode, we talk about our high school experience and how it made us the musicians we are today. We also talk about all the things we wish we had done differently. If you're in high school, we hope you use this to your advantage!
We forgot our outline... But that didn't stop us from talking about our own personal experiences with independent musicianship. We go into detail about what it means to 'be your own boss' as a musician and let you into some of the nitty gritty of our social media management.
Being successful as a musician has as much to do with the mind as it does with playing. Whether success means bigger turnouts at shows, more money in your pocket, or simply feeling satisfied with your own work. Having the right mindset is key to achieving your goals. In this podcast, we discuss what it takes to maintain the positive outlook and constructive perspective required to help bring you closer to your musical aspirations, whatever they may be.
Performance is, more often than not, the last thing we think about when planning a show. We rehearse the music, organize the set, and sell tickets but we don't think "how will this show be memorable?". Well, we are challenging that way of thinking! In this episode, we talk about the importance of a great performance and everything that goes into performing like a BOSS.
Have you ever thought, "how will people in my hometown know about me or my band?" or "how do I become a member of the music scene?". Well, that's what we're talking about this week! You'll get to hear about what we've done and are doing to break into our local music scene and some of our best tips for doing the same WHEREVER YOU ARE IN THE WORLD!!
