First half was experimental and free flowing - she made her stamp through her fluid style while wielding a pro model of her own; Marie Des Neiges. Then the half-time came–she must have had some of the bugs bunny space jam placebo water before going on court cause she dominated the second half. X-games Gold medalist, customized outfits, back to back Olympic silver medals, star of a netflix documentary, had her own event in memory of Sarah Burke, all of this while being a mother. He greased the one standing rail and popped a backside 270 out–I was blown away. I had never slid a rail before but that day if I did, and he looked, I would get sponsored–or so I thought. I was freezing, waiting at the rail tilI I spotted him in the chair lift from afar. There he was–time to manifest the dream. I dropped in, like a dog chasing a bone, jumped on the rail and sacked it straight to the balls. Humiliate Ed. He probably wasn’t looking. When it come to rail skiing—this man elevated the game. He was ahead of his time. But as cliché as it sounds, to me, his strong suit was to be a good person, humble, genuine and easy going. I owe a lot to this man—he’s taught me valuable things just by being himself. Today we are ‘Giving Flowers’ to Iannick B.

His whole hearted commitment on and off snow has repeatedly elevated skiing to a new plateau.  His video part in Session 1242 is a game changer—like checker to chess. Fact is, some even confessed, it caused them to quit.  His first ever pro model ski, the Fujative, ran more numbers then the matrix.  He is a vital piece to the trinity of your favorite skier’s favorite ski movie—IDEA. He popularized no pole skiing and broke convention on the biggest stage by competing with no poles at X-games with Andy Mahre. There's a research team on retainer searching for the runs, to this day. It's like a unicorn.  His style is thorough - He moves with intent. I cannot overstate his impact on the culture and on my behalf. We're privileged to have this man join us. The saying ‘quality over quantity’ holds firm in his case. Though thru only six years as a professional skiers, his impact, just like his body frame, was colossal. My personal first idol, his part in ‘The Game’ his ingrained in my psyche forever and at the root of why I ski like I do.
