Ntalo Mathebula is a parenting coach, speech therapist, children's ministry specialist and child education trainer. One of the most neglected and often maligned groups of people in religious communities are single-parents, particularly single mothers. Even the church doesn't seem to know how to care and attend to them, a group that is already facing stigma and rejection from their own families and communities.
In this episode Ndumiso and Dudu had an open conversation with two women who are not only single moms; but also ministers in the church. We heard of their experiences and what solutions that we implemented to solve this dilemma. Pastor Mirriam Mashego and Elizabeth Ranoto challenged the prevailing thinking on this issue and spoke with great wisdom.
