The best way to overcome your fear of being on camera is to JUST PUBLISH your content. You will not sound smooth or cool or comfortable but you are doing this for yourself in order to find your voice. It will definitely take a lot of time and practice but over time you will become better as long as you keep going. None of the actors, keynote speakers or YouTube stars you see were great right away so stop judging yourself and start recording yourself.
So many newbies (and even advanced entrepreneurs) are willing to sell their services and products to anybody which is a HUGE MISTAKE! Before you start a company, ask yourself first: "Who do I want to serve?" Keep in mind that these are the people you are going to work with for the rest of your life so choose very carefully. Identify who your dream customers are, find out where they congregate and ask them what they want so you can create it for them.
Building a brand is extremely important for the long term success of your business. When you properly brand your business and yourself, you gain customer loyalty, can charge more for your products and get word of mouth from your customers. Your brand identity includes your logo, the colours, the fonts and the messaging you use to communicate with customers but it's also what people think and feel when they hear your name. When you build a strong brand you will be in the front of mind of your audience so when they need to make a purchasing decision they will buy from you because you have built a strong relationship over time. It does take a lot of time to build trust so you need to be consistent with your branding on all the channels you use to communicate with your customers.
You might have the best sales funnel in the world but how are you going to drive traffic so customers buy your offers? If you think you can increase traffic without any marketing effort, creating content or budget... don't fall for it. Today's episode will help you understand the different kinds of traffic that exist so you can use each of them to grow your business.
One of the reasons I created my podcast "The Underground Marketing Conspiracy" is because there is great power in having your own show. Having a show is a distribution channel where you can build an audience of people to share your ideas with. By creating valuable content for your audience, you bring goodwill which builds trust and strengthens the bond between you and your fans. Check out today's episode where I talk about the importance of building your distribution channel and personal brand.
20 years from now people will be talking about this secret group or marketers that knew about these things called "funnels". Having a traditional website these days is not enough but it just sits there waiting for people to find what they're looking for. When you have a funnel, you guide people through the purchase with a series of web pages the same way a salesman would in person. This allows you as a business owner to maximize your return on ad spend, increase your average cart value and reduce the cost for acquiring a new customer.
Writing really good product descriptions that appeal to your customers is important if you want to boost your sales. You need to write product descriptions that appeal to what your customer desires and not focus on what YOU think will work logically. Many times you will see product descriptions that are too focused on the features and benefits only but fail to inject enough emotion. Remember: People buy with emotion and rationalize their buying decisions with logic so tell a story about your product that appeals to heart instead of the mind.
If you have ever fallen off the wagon with your content marketing efforts... don't worry it happens. The best way to get back on track is to let your subscribers know that you are back in the game. The relationship you have with your audience is part of the foundation that great businesses are built so you need to take publishing content seriously if you want to build a huge brand.

"Hustle culture" has made entrepreneurs feel guilty about relaxation. This "burn the candle at both ends" and "rest when I die" mentality is not healthy for your mind, body and spirit. You need to take the time to rejuvenate and recuperate your energy so you come back to the game stronger and more determined to crush it.
Sure, you can create the best product in the world...but you will always struggle to sell your product unless you invent "Big Marketing Ideas". Because people are exposed to so much advertising each day, typical marketing messages no longer make an impact. You need to differentiate your marketing message from all of your competitors so it's something your prospects have never heard or seen before. Whether you are creating a video for YouTube, publishing a blog post, doing a Facebook Live, building a sales page, or a complete end to end marketing campaign... you MUST develop new Big Ideas that are interesting, captivating and arresting. This will allow you to grab attention, engage prospects and compel them to want to hear more about the idea so they can ultimately buy into it.
There is a classic marketing book called "The 12 Month Millionaire" by Vincent James. It's one of those books you can't just find on Amazon or eBay or at the library. I've been trying to find a copy to add to my collection and came across some interviews from 2007 where this guy Vince goes DEEP on selling supplements and information products. Thought I'd share what I learned and hope you will implement some of this. Enjoy!
"My ongoing study of advertising has led me to believe that while technology is changing exponentially, the hearts of the people aren't changing at all. We're still the same predictable creatures we've always been. People and advertising seem subject to certain laws of the universe that are impervious to change." - Roy H. Williams In today's episode, I will share each of the laws with you.

99% of businesses focus on making a profit on their front end offers which means they are under constant threat of weak margins & low cashflow. The real money is always made on the back-end offers and here is why you should focus mostly on this part of your funnels.
