Ryan Parrish reached out to Isaac on advice on how to start a podcast as an advocate for facing mental health issues today. Take a listen as they discuss how we can take on mental health issues building a moral landscape that gives you an aim in life. By buying in to something greater than yourself that is positive (doesn't matter what it is) you can make a change in this world. However the change starts inward, then to your family, then to your community, then you can start going after about the big problems of the world.

Finding religion as non-believer is not easy, but if your going to call yourself a true seeker of knowledge, shouldn't you look for God as well? Brandon and Isaac both have went from non-believers to believers in common ways. As they have grown as men, husbands, and new fathers, they began to explore the nature of spirituality and try and merge the conflicts between science and religion. Appreciating these narratives and moral truths from the archetypal stories is the just the beginning of Isaac and Brandon's religious journey.
A lot of controversy with the phrase "learn to code" which poses a major question to everyone, is it reasonable to ask anyone (no matter what their background) to take on modern endeavor to coding. Isaac had a lack of motivation to get up and do this podcast. Luckily his amazing wife lit that fire under his butt and motivated him to keep on keeping on. Having the discipline to work daily towards personal goals is a struggle everyone faces. There is always a million reasons to not do a podcast. Isaac and Chelsie discuss that motivation comes from an idea of an optimistic tomorrow or the idea of potential and living up to it. It's not easy to believe in the potential of tomorrow (or the future in general), and this is a challenge that turns a lot of people to religious and philosophical groundworks. The idea of believing that "tomorrow is going to be ok no matter what" is just a prayer, visualization, or positive affirmation. Pick your label, but the idea that pushes us forward is more real than real. Science can show us matter, but it can't show us what matters. Isaac and Chelsie just skim the surface of some the most important stories of all time and how they can move our lives forward if we just trust in them. Isaac and Chelsie discuss the temptations and never being satisfied. We love to consume junk food, junk media, and junk values. The newness of junk makes life exciting, but really you are trying to just fill a hole. You are not absent of anything, you just need to make the decision to value right what is front of you! Isaac and Chelsie discuss how sacrificing some of the junk in your life is not about what you are losing, but about what you will gain with the time and resources you make available. How can we let go of materialism, and see what is right in front of us?Follow us on YoutubeFollow us on InstagramFollow us on FacebookFollow us on TwitterIntro Music:https://soundcloud.com/domobsolete/angels-of-dawnPermission granted from creator Dominick Lee
Sometimes you just need to make a choice for your life and jump in for both feet. This podcast is inspired by this idea of being two feet in on anything you care about. The common mistake most people make when it comes to going after their dream is self doubt and insecurity. We are facing those same obstacles with a dream to start a podcast. We will discuss how going forward with a dream, goal, relationship, or career is about taking baby steps and becoming ready to fail with the mindset to learn from those failures. Take a listen as we introduce ourselves and dive into this new world of podcasting!Follow us on YoutubeFollow us on InstagramFollow us on FacebookFollow us on TwitterIntro Music:https://soundcloud.com/domobsolete/angels-of-dawnPermission granted from creator Dominick Lee
