Excellent podcast Hendrix! I remember learning about eunuchs when I was young, but knew nothing about 2-spirited, Mahu, or Hijra people. I like that you took the uggestion of the person who recommended Joan's book. Colonialism destroyed so many revered traditions and perceptions. How sad. I hope that we can get back to honoring and valuing everyone. I was struck by a term you used; "being that way."
