Val invites an old friend over for a Halloween chat. Stingy Jack, better known as Jack O’Lantern, makes himself comfortable in the studio to discuss how he came to exist, how gullible the devil is, and how he saved a friend from the fae.
Stephanie Bingham saunters through the portal into the studio and regales Val with stories of the paranormal. They discuss the best holiday ever, Halloween, a sharp-toothed child ghost haunting a college campus, and Kelly Hopkinsville goblins attempt to jump on a human trend.

Val awakens after a short siesta and a romp in Ocean City, MD before sitting down with her first guest of season 2: Mike Michaelangelo St. Michaels. Seemingly a regular human Executive Business Managerial Consultive Supervisor, Mike's hobby is what brings him to the show: proving the existence of Bigfoot via Bible verse. But Val gets hung up on the fact that despite being in the presence of a vampire (a podcast hostess vampire, at that), Mike does not believe in such creatures of the night.
