To me, this is one of the most impactful episodes on this podcast that I have listened to! I've often wondered over the past 25 plus years of my whole food, plant based journey how my efforts to combine strength training and cardio to the greatest effect could happen. Now I know! kudos to you both for your efforts to parse through the myriad research studies on this topic, then share those findings with us! I've always done my cardio (a brisk 6 mile walk) just before hitting the gym, but now I'll crush the weights earlier, and wait 6 hours before doing cardio. Brilliant! Thank you! I love soaking up all of your episodes (I started only a month ago, from the beginning), but episode #9 (how much protein do I need?) and this one have had the most impact so far. Can't wait to hear the rest. You two rock!
