Fausto Pifferrer is the Co-Founder of Blue Elephant and Catering in Maine. He began his catering and event planning career 35 years ago in Philadelphia. He has an eye for detail and production and is passionate about creating high-quality, memorable events for his wedding and corporate clients. Fausto is a member of the board of directors of the International Caterers Association (ICA), is past President of the Biddeford-Saco Rotary Club, and a founding member of the Maine chapter of NACE (National Association of Catering and Events).
With almost four decades in the business, Pifferrer says he works hard to stay relevant, and to fight against ageism and an oversaturated market. Pifferrer started his first catering company in 1986 at just 18 years old. After that successful first year, Pifferrer worked at additional catering companies and had a stint in restaurant management before opening Blue Elephant Events and Catering in 2007.
