Victor Davis Hanson is the best current critical thinker out there. He's fluent in current events, military history, Classics etc. Victor is a walking encyclopedia with the ability to process and evaluate information and make it explainable so the average or discrimination person can absorb it. I can't recommend Victor enough. He's a must listen and read. Victor also has several courses at Hillsdale college offered free online. Absolutely top notch resource to expand your mind.

In line with military procurement, my husband was in the air force director on the technical side of the b2 bomber, a Major, after retiring and hired by Northrop Grumman, a few months later the air force said..nope can't do it because it was a conflict of interest. it was devastating financially as no other aerospace industries would touch him. BUT a couple of years later I read where the General head of Procurement was hired by Eagle Battery. any further explanation is mute.
