The Collegiate Beach Volleyball season just surpassed the midway point and we're seeing shifts from 2-5 without a lot of big changes in the rest of the AVCA top 20. A lot of the top teams were idle in week 5, but the ones that weren't saw solid action at the Big West Challenge in San Luis Obispo, CA and East Meets West in Austin,TX.   Although teams may have split their duals this last weekend, without a doubt the teams are developing in a beneficial way as we move closer to conference tournaments.
