Episode #12 of The Wash is something of an interlude.
With my focus slightly turned on elsewhere, I jumped in for a rapid, value rich 6 minutes of recommendations.
In the podcast I offer thoughts on two Television Series:
- Kingdom
&
- The Midnight Gospel.
On top of this, I cover two of the best podcast episodes I've listened to lately:
- Radiolab's 'The Cataclysm Sentence'
&
- How to Get Rich - By Naval and Nivi Enjoy, and let me know what you think of the recommendations.
You can also watch the video version of this episode at Jackandthewash.com or on Youtube.
In this episode I run Sebastian Junger's book 'Tribe' through The Wash. Alongside this I consider some of the possible positive effects that may have resulted from the Coronavirus outbreak. Find the transcript at Jackandthewash.com.
Number 10 of The Wash.
A bit of a milestone I guess.
Talking about films again this time, and those films will be:
1917, Togo, Onward, Bacarau and Hustlers.
Really enjoyed all of these films, and highly recommend you check them out.

After a small break, I’m back with episode #8 of The Wash.
Recent times have been very troubling, and in this episode I reflect on that, and talk about how I think we can move forward through this with as little suffering as possible.
(Please note that I am not an expert on virology or epidemiology, and you should refer to such experts before taking what I say to be fact)
I talk about the fact that I may have had Coronavirus, what that was like, and the anxiety that accompanied it.
In the last portion of the episode I reveal my new website:
jackandthewash.com
I’ve been working on it for a while now, and it is slowly becoming more and more presentable.
On the website you’ll find my writing, book reviews, film recommendations and it is of course the home of this podcast, The Wash.

And so begins my new podcast. This episode is a little intro into what I'm doing here. This is the worst quality/ worst produced episode I will ever make. So the sky is limitless! I talk of why I'm starting, and what the podcast will consist of. Bienvenue, to you & ewe.
