Escaping Lust and Chasing God TogetherUsing 2 Timothy 2:22 (NKJV), Ps. Ps. Ryan says the battle is often lost in close-range “wrestling,” so the practical strategy is to exit tempting spaces quickly (like Joseph) rather than linger (like Samson). However, fleeing alone is not enough; an “empty house” can be reoccupied (Matthew 12:44–45), so desires must be replaced by filling the heart with God through the Word, worship, and devotion.
