It feels like there is a battle being fought in the public domain between creatives and AI developers with governments unsure about how to mitigate this battle. Here I discuss this very public battle and call for the government to act swiftly as a mitigator and bring clarity to the landscape.
This episode is a review of papers by the House of Lords, Council of Europe and Department of Education.
I discusses how policy makers and Government view Ai in Education and how the conversation needs to be more balanced to enable education practitioners to adapt the innovations of AIED.
I interrupt my series on 'Running Chronicles' to bring you an inspiring interview with multi-million property owner and surgeon, Dr Titus Odedun. He tells us about his work ethic which took him from being an out-ofs-chool mechanic on the streets of Lagos to becoming a multi-millionaire in the UK.
I discuss how people run really fast and then get tired early. I encourage you to learn to create a pace that suits you. Do not worry about how slow or fast others are going. Life is rarely a sprint, so settle in for a marathon.
Secondly, life can be so busy with so many demands on our time and ourselves. Learn to make space for solitude to think and to grow and to heal.
In this episode I discuss how we must keep running even when it hurts. If the rain cannot stop us doing what needs to be done, then that mindset should mean that problems cannot stop us from pursuing our vision.
I also look at the parable of the talents and how we can liken that to the importance of mentorship and reproducing ourselves in others.

In this first episode I discuss chapter one of my book 'Running Chronicles: Twenty-One Lessons I leaned from Running'. The chapter discusses the idea that we inspire people by our actions whether we mean to or not, whether we are concious of it or not. Also we need to be inspired in order to inspire others.
These are my key takeawys of the UK Government's AI plan. This review as a podcast is quite late as the plan came out on January 13th 2025. The full review which I did in January is on my blog on my website at www.nanaoguntola.me
This video is based on my blog titled' A Review of Transcending Imagination: Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Creativity By Alexander Manu.
Having taken a look at some of the AI creative tools I am stunned by the lack of black presence.
In this video I call for people of black heritage to get involved in AI as a matter of urgency and for investors, especially black investors to support them.
Otherwise we run the risk of calling racism and lack of representation in 50 years as nothing would have changed.
Storytelling must be about representation.

This is the first episode in series two of my podcasts.
I discuss the arrival of the AI filmmaking tool, Sora.
I am excited about it on three fronts, first as a filmmaker, second as a filmmaking trainer and finally as part of my doctoral research.
Watch or listen to my podcast to see what I think and let me know your own thoughts around the use of AI in creative practice.
This final episode in Series One discusses the need to celebrate one's successes and not look to others to do so.
It also encourages listerners to keep moving and growing even when it hurts.
In this episode I discuss how the descipline of running boosts my self confidence in facing other tasks.
I also discuss how important it is to be around people who can support our dream.
In this episode I discuss the need for us to do the right thing and act with integrity when no one is watching or there is no hope of reward.
I also discuss the need to be willing to pay the price to achieve our goals,
In this episode I look at two chapters of my book; 'Who's watching' and 'The Price'.
So often what we say and do, do not always align. Are we saying and doing things because others are watching or are we doing and saying them because they align with our own values.
Additionally, there is always a price for what we want. The price we are willing to pay for something will depend on how valuable that thing is to us. If we don't think it is worth the price, then all we will do is pay lip service to our desires and not put in the work to achieve it.
Be Inspired.
In this episode I look at how necessary it is for us to keep moving what ever the circumstances we may find ourselves in. We need to run even when it rains.
I also discuss the importance of allowing ourselves to cry when we need to. It is healing for our souls and as humans we need to acknowledge the hurt and pain before we can heal and move on.
We would all like the right tools, the right people, situations, circumstances, the right amount of money to enable us to achieve or pursue our dreams.
Sometimes these are not available. What do you do? Stop and wait till everything is in order or keep running despite it.
This is the theme of this episode of 'The Way I See It'.
