Today we are going to share several ways you can create a healthier home that will help you burn more calories without adding any additional exercise!  What? How is that even possible you ask? Well, I’ve got fitness expert Ror Alexander here on the show again and he’s going to tell us all about movement furniture, and how to create a NEAT home. NEAT stands for Non exercise activity thermogenisis. So this is going to be a great episode since we are all at home and probably much more sedentary than we’ve ever been. I have friends who have said they’ve gained the Covid-19! So if that’s you, this episode is going to help you with that! So stay tuned.. I’m so excited so - let’s grow!
So many of us have chronic stress. We run from here to there, we are constantly busy and have so many responsibilities and things to take care of it’s no wonder we feel ragged by the end of the day. COVID has given us all a chance to slow down and stay put, but for many of us this means having to juggle working from home where the kids are in your space! Maybe it’s hard to find a moment to yourself.  You might even be thinking it’s time to move or I hate my home! Well in this episode, you’ll learn how to transform your space into something you’ll love. No matter the size of your home or where you live, anyone can do this! And we’ve got Ror Alexander here with us again to share with us his secret to feeling happier in your home. So let’s grow!
Are you thinking of doing a kitchen remodel or just looking for ways to improve your kitchen?  Don't miss today's episode on How to Turn Your Kitchen into a Wellness Kitchen!   We have special guest and wellness architect Kate Hamblet on the show.  We’ll be talking about the best layouts, the best materials to use, and ways you can design your kitchen for wellness so your kitchen will look beautiful AND function in a harmonious way that encourages a healthy lifestyle! I know we all want that! So let’s grow!
Kitchen organization mistakes to avoid and how we can organize the pantry and fridge and the rest of the kitchen so that it supports healthier habits!   With special guest Danielle Keith from www.HealthyGirlKitchen.com
When you Feng Shui your kitchen you’ll be inspired to cook healthy foods and you will feel less stress when cooking!  So I’m so excited to learn more! Amy Stephens is with us again to tell us how.
For thousands of years the Chinese have used Feng Shui principals to bring more peace and prosperity into their lives.  You might think it’s just superstition or hogwash and I’m here to tell you that it’s really just the study of how to use energy forces to harmonize individuals with their surrounding environment.  And if even if you are a scientist or a physicist you understand that life is energy we are all made up of energy.  So if we can learn to harness that energy we can feel better, we can think more clearly, we can feel more at peace, be more patient, be inspired, and ultimately create a more comfortable life on our own terms.  Fundamentally, Feng Shui teaches us how we can take control of our lives.  It offers guidance, so money issues, family issues, career problems anything that is going wrong in our lives, we can apply Feng Shui principals to improve them.  It allows us to create balance and bring more flow into our life so we aren’t working so hard.  You know how when you feel like you swimming upstream and nothing seems to be going your way, or just there’s road block after road block, vs sometimes when you are in the flow, you have endless energy and exactly what you need just seems to appear at the right time?  This it what I’m talking about when I say flow.   Pretty amazing right?  So, I’ve got Amy Stephens on the show again, she’s been practicing and helping others use Feng Shui in their homes for over 20 years and she’s going to dive a little deeper today and explain the Bagua map and how you can use it to make adjustments to the energy in your home.  So it’s going to be an episode you won’t want to miss!  Let’s grow!
Have you ever walked into a home or restaurant and had a uncomfortable feeling that you didn’t know what was wrong about it, but it just didn’t quite feel right, so you thought let’s leave?    Have you ever walked into a home and felt immediately comfortable like it was drawing you inside and you just got that feeling?  A lot of home buyers are searching for that feeling you know.  They can’t place what it is, but they will know right away when they walk in.    Well, what you were feeling is the energy of that space.  And what if I told you it’s something you can control.  Cool right?  Well, that’s what we’re talking about on today’s episode.  I’m super excited to have a special guest here Amy Stephens.  She’s an interior designer, and Feng Shui specialist for the past 20 years and she’s also a yoga instructor and teaches others all about energy, how to harness it and use it to our advantage.  So she’s going to walk us through the house and give us some quick tips on how you can transform the energy of your spaces so that they are inviting, welcoming and more comfortable for you and your family to live in.  It’s going to be a great episode!  So, let’s grow!

Wow this is a great episode about Exploration and how this area of our lives is so important to overall wellbeing.  We discuss how our home can support this area and then also as an added treat I have included an awesome interview with my friend Selena O'Conner from Olive Alchemy.net.  She has an amazing olive oil business and describes how not all olive oils are the same.  In fact many grocery store brands are lacking in nutrients, mixed with other vegetable oils or are even rancid!  So she tells us what to look for to find fresh olive oil because it's the freshness that is most important!  So get ready to learn and then it'll be up to you to incorporate this into your life so that you are fueling the explorer in you!   Thanks so much for tuning in!  Show notes will be on my website at www.luxlivingsocal.com/blog
Today we are still talking about personal growth - which is one of the major categories that I believe contribute to overall wellness.  Health and Relationships being the others.   In this series we are going to touch on 6 different areas - we already touched on creativity and spirituality, so today we’ll discuss self expression, and discuss steps we can take to encourage self expression for ourselves and our family members and then we’ll see how our home environment can support that area of our lives.

I have an awesome guest for today’s show.  We’re going to discuss hypnotism and how you can unlock your subconscious mind to search deep within to find your purpose and ultimately create the life you want for you and your family.
Her name is- Kelsey Padigos.  She’s a certified hypnotist in the San Diego area and she explains what hypnotism is and how we can use it to stop the mental chatter or shift the things that block us from moving forward in our lives.  She gives us practical steps we can take to foster the very best mindset for ourselves and our children to be self confident and live our best lives! .  We will also uncover how we can create an environment at home so you can get started today!  So this a great episode!! Thank you so much for tuning in!  Let’s grow!
Everyone is creative - even if you don’t think you are, you are unique individual and you have the ability to create.  Creativity isn’t limited to art, dance or music.  Creativity is simply the use of ideas in new and original ways.   And if you start flexing your creativity muscles you’ll find that your life begin to have more meaning, purpose and joy.    How can you home support creativity for you and your family?  Well in today’s episode we’ll dive into that!
Shownotes can be found here.
There's ONE thing that can help you reach your personal and family goals in 2020!  In this episode we are going to find out what that ONE thing is and also learn how our home environment can support that ONE thing.   Season 2 is all about Personal Growth.  I believe there are 15 areas of our lives that contribute to overall wellness, and I group those areas into 3 different categories.  Personal Growth, Relationships & Health.   Because let’s face it, if you are struggling in an area of personal growth or relationships, no amount of kale or green juice is going to fix that!  So it’s important to understand what these different areas of our lives are and how becoming conscious of our actions and behaviors and habits will help lead to making better decisions!   Because once you are aware, that’s when you can start creating change and attracting what you want in the behavior of others, in yourself and in the life you want to create. So Season 2 will be all about personal growth and how the home can support that area of our lives.  So I’m super excited today’s episode, and can’t wait to get started,  so let’s grow!

Welcome to the WellLIFE podcast!  Today you are in for a treat as we discuss The Secret Language of the Heart: Unlocking Music’s Power to Heal
Our special guest Barry Goldstein is more than a Grammy Award-winning composer; he’s a true pioneer in the world of sound and healing. With over 30 years of experience, Barry has mastered the art of blending scientific innovation with musical creativity, proving that music isn’t just entertainment—it’s medicine for the mind and body.
From collaborating with visionary leaders like Dr. Daniel Amen, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and Dave Asprey to coining the term 'acousticeuticals,' Barry is redefining how we think about sound’s role in health. His groundbreaking compositions are used in hospitals and wellness spaces to reduce stress, promote healing, and enhance emotional well-being.
But Barry’s work doesn’t stop there. Whether he’s creating sonic branding for corporate missions, crafting ambient soundscapes for best-selling authors like Shirley MacLaine and Anita Moorjani, or charting Billboard’s top ten New Age albums, his mission is clear: to harness the universal language of music to inspire, heal, and transform.
So if you’ve ever wondered how music can calm your mind, heal your body, or even amplify your personal or professional mission—or if you’re curious about the emerging science of therapeutic sound—stay tuned, because this is an episode you won’t want to miss!
