This episode, we REALLY got into some thangs mama. As we stated in the episode itself, if SA and domestic abuse is too much for you at this time, please don't worry. You can skip ahead and move on to the next episode. In this episode, we discuss the situations between Cassie, Diddy and more, Keke & Darius and Chrisean and James Wright Chanel.
Who's Up Next? segment: Elii Ormond (@eliiormond) - Model, Creative Director, Recording Artist
What Now? segment: I think that as a community, there are two things that we must hold one another to - accountability and space for change or in other words, recompense. For too long we have silenced victims of sexual assault and domestic violence while never holding the perpetrators accountable for their harmful and vile actions; I guess that’s the workings of misogyny & white supremacy for you. Also, it’s sad that some of you that are women and femme presenting individuals cape for the same men that have oppressive & violent behaviors. I continue to say that we’ll never be free if we all don’t stop participating in these misogynistic behaviors. At the end of the day, all you can do is hold yourself and those in your circle accountable for their actions and how they treat you by creating boundaries and sticking to them.

We're back mama! If you're going to be down for the cause then you gotta stay 10 toes down all the way. With anything that you do in life, please make sure that you stand for something!
Who's Up Next? Segment: Courtney Taylor @thisiscourtneytaylor
What Now? Segment: I think that what we all should do is if you follow a creative or any person with a large platform and they haven’t said anything at all about ANYTHING that’s happening in the world right now then I believe that shows you what time they’re on. This includes each one of our favorite artists including Beyonce and y’all know I love her.

Hi everyone, I'm back. I've been dealing with soooooo much on my plate and I am hanging in there. At this point, I'm tired of crying, but I will let the tears fall from my face as long as that pain and sorrow doesn't stay inside my body; have to release it as much as possible. Losing a grandparent is a natural occurrence as we go from children to adults. I'm glad that I was being prepared for the loss as it made it more of a reality that it was going to happen. Now that I have a parent in the hospital right afterwards, it kind of makes my stress level higher. Right now, I am praying for healing (mental and physical), grace, mercy, favor, peace and a full recovery for my parent. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
If you are dealing with the loss of a loved one or the hospitalization of a loved one, I am here right alongside you and know that I understand and am sending you so much love!

Girl I'm a little tired of the conversation of black queer people not being acknowledged in the room even though we are THE ONES shaking the room in order for most things to change sometimes. I'm starting to work on myself when it comes to feeling anxious in straight black spaces because I always don't feel safe and wanted in that space. As we dive into today's conversation, I acknowledge how I started feeling unwelcome in this space where it was created for black men of ALL backgrounds and sexualities.
The Who's Up Next? Segment: L.A.W.D. @lawdofficial | Media company bringing ideas into reality. | lawd.online
The What Now? Segment: I'm NO longer allowing myself to be apart of spaces that won't acknowledge and respect my queerness and blackness, AT THE SAME DAMN TIME!

It's sad to say but I don't think they'll ever give Beyonce album of the year. That leads us to not even set the Grammy's as the standard and BE ALL. White people will continue to be praised even when their work doesn't meet our caliber. Oh well, keep being excellent my black people!

As a non-binary, queer individual it is not loss upon me that I typically do not fit the beauty standard that is normalized here in America and pretty much across the globe. Most of the looks that are considered "hot" stems from colonialism and the want to be closer to whiteness. In relation to that it's important to know the barriers that communities face in terms of socioeconomic and political barriers that affect everyday life.
The Who's Up Next? Segment: Derria (Digital Creator - Fashion & Lifestyle) @dlolo
The What Now? Segment: Be more loving and empathetic. Be more understanding of people's and communities' plights before automatically judging someone's decision for their own personal lives.

Hey yall! We are so excited for this to be the last episode of this first season! We have gotten into this whole trial with Tory Lanez with his alleged shooting of Megan Thee Stallion. It sucks that it seems that Meg's mentality is dwindling because of this situation. Let's all actually stay loyal to the saying "protect black women" because on the daily, black women protect us.
Who's Up Next?: Dualite AKA @afemmequeen on IG ... music is A1!

We are getting back into the swing of things with our last two episodes of our very first season! I'm so thankful that you all continue to listen and support this podcast. The holiday season is upon us and there's always that lingering feeling of wanting to be around your family but not wanting to be around the unnecessary drama. I'm currently experiencing this feeling and I'm not sure if it ever goes away?! Have you felt this way?

Chileeeeeee it's sad that sometimes you have to distance yourself from certain people whether they are family, friends, associates because they don't value you, they are emotionally abusive and are emotional vampires. Don't let emotional vampires come around you and zap your peace! Keep your peace by EVERY means necessary.
Who's Up Next? Segment: @threadbeauty Thread Beauty - beauty brand made for humans of color! shoutout to Thread Beauty for accepting me into their University and for showing me soooo much love!
What Now? Segment: Set your boundaries and make the little kid in your heart proud of you for standing up for yourself. If people continue to be emotional vampires and cross your boundaries, it's time to choose, it's either you or them.

Annnddddd we're back. Thank you to my OG listeners and to all of the new listeners that we have here at The What Now? Podcast! We are getting into some things today honey. Low vibrational plates, flipping $10,000, and trying not to feel inadequate with where you are in life.
The Who's Up Next? Segment: Unmatched Vision @unmatched.vsn Clothing Brand
The What Now? Segment: Get to the bag by any means necessary. Also, don't let anyone make you feel inadequate especially if they're supposed to have your back (i.e. family, friends) because of where you are in your life professionally, educationally and nothing!
Henrietta Lacks was the black woman whose cancer cells were taken from her without her or her family's knowledge or permission and used to create the world's first ever immortalized human cell(s) - HeLa cells. I do believe and correct me if I'm wrong that these cells are used by scientists today to continue the study of cancer and its effects on the human body. DISGUSTING. This is what we mean when we say that racism infiltrated every system in America: healthcare, social welfare, education, economics, housing, recreation...

This episode we discuss how racism and homophobia both sneaked their way into the horrible occurrences of Jeffrey Dahmer and the numerous Black and POC men and boys that were victimized by him. It's disgusting how the justice system/Milwaukee police failed thee Black/POC and gay community once again.

This is the second episode where we're discussing friendships and how to be open enough so that you create a safe space for all parties involved. I think it's really important especially since we're grown now to be adults about the situation. Being vulnerable is hard but t's needed if you really want your friends to be family!
Who's Up Next? Segment: @kungfukee_ Stylist/Creative Strategist
The What Now? Segment: As we said before, wee know that it's hard to be vulnerable and open about sensitive situations that you've experienced, BUT it's imperative that you have trust and know that those that you consider to bee your friends can only be considered true chosen family if you provide them the space to be open and willing to be a listening ear.
