Joey is an amazing individual, who fought through so much in his life. I think he is amazing with a resilience many should aspire to. This has been one of the best podcast I have listened to in a long time! Well done to the producers. I will miss listening to Joey.

This was so brilliant, truly what a courageous and brave soul. I can't find word to define how much this story has effected me. Joey is so raw and honest, your a legend for speaking out and it's all such a tragedy from the abuser to the system failing you. I pray you find happiness. Fantastic sound scape and production. The interview was mellow and well prompted. 10 out of 10. What a heartache of a tale. Be safe Joey.

Whoa, beware of the milkman -- especially if he's carrying a hammer!! What a frightening awakening for a 12 year old kid regardless of where he's grown up and what he's already seen. Scary how quickly everything changed!

6 cans and 20 smokes, everything a 12 year old and his mates needed for a great night! Such innocence, no idea what he's signed up for.

he speaks very quickly and with a thick Irish accent so I'm missing bits of what he's saying. a short summary of what he said from the hosts would be good. 👍🏻
