This is a reading of the short essay "Symmetry and Repetition" written by Sir Lewis Namier. "Symmetry and Repetition" explores the tendency of people to avoid thinking by relying on established patterns and structures, particularly in political and historical contexts. Sir Lewis Bernstein Namier was a British historian of Polish-Jewish background.
