In a post-apocalyptic world with no internet or electricity, five disparate factions vie for dominance in the city-state of Fiveboro. Each tribe worships at the altar of the bygone pop-culture references of an earlier time, and relishes the stories of film and television they've never actually seen. The Fansci Folk live in a Sci-Fi/Fantasy cosplay kingdom, the Escandalistas invoke the drama of the Telenovelas, The Criterione Collective praises the independent Art Film, the Snookis favor "reality" over fiction and the Hepburners prefer their stories told in black and white. When a powerful figure who calls himself The Cardinal invites the leaders of the factions to his Roost, the announcement he makes threatens to shake Fiveboro to its very core and upend the peaceful detente that has ruled the realm for over a decade.

Welcome to a future further off than you can conceive, but closer than you would like...
The Cardinal invites the royalty of the factions of Fiveboro to join him in his Roost, but his intentions seem less than honorable. Lukas travels across Fiveboro to deliver The Cardinal’s message to Queen Cyanaris, but the job proves to be much more difficult than he expected when he meets Princess Ripley. Yolanda pauses her family drama to prepare for the meeting at the Roost.
Folker meets with Teller Bastien and surprises them with two incredible opportunities. The royal courts of The Snookis and The HepBurners react to The Cardinal’s invitation. Chip prepares for an adventure.
Representatives of the major factions complete the treacherous journey to The Roost where they are spoiled with delicacies from the world that was, Lukas yearns for more, and The Cardinal shares a shocking revelation.
The delegates are shocked to learn that The Cardinal had a vision of a movie from the world that was. Skeptical of The Cardinal, Ripley, Danielle, Yolanda, Chip, Teller Bastien, and Lukas conspire in secret to investigate what is truly afoot. After working through their prejudices, the six determine that they will have to unite to unearth The Cardinal’s true intentions. Chip gets his first taste of acceptance.
Lukas, Teller Bastien, and Danielle, half of the newly-forged fellowship, meet in the SubTubes two days after their summons to The Roost. They journey deep into the world below to interview the SubTribes for intel about The Cardinal overheard from passing Talon officers. Lukas saves a group of Periodontists. The group adopts a stowaway.
The second half of our Fellowship - Ripley, Yolanda, and Chip - brave the treacherous trek to the Oracle of Nypil. Chip proves his mettle. The Oracle poses her riddle. Will Yolanda make it home in time to get her nails did?
The Cardinal debuts his production of "My Dinner with Andre!: The Musical." The Fellowship compares notes from the week's investigations. High Priestess Patti of the Gleevangelical Church reviews The Cardinal's show.
