This episode marks one year of the show and comes with a great conversation I had with fellow podcaster Ella Jay, host of A Wrestling Gal.
We discussed whether superstars across different promotions should be given 100% creative control over their characters and storylines, along with crossover fantasy matches that need to happen down the line. We also talked about the work Ella has been doing with GAWCAST, a podcast hosted by Mickie James, Lisa Marie Varon (FKA Victoria), and Valerie Wyndham.

In this bonus episode, my conversation with The Second Turnbuckle Wrestling Podcast continues as we discuss how WWE can choose to take a page out of the old books and work with AEW to plan an invasion angle that would benefit both companies for years to come. Along with that we also spoke about what wrestling would look like in 2021 as restrictions start to ease and fans may soon be allowed back into arenas for live shows.
Don't miss the banter, bad puns, and great conversation we had. Let your thoughts be known about these topics and send in your creative ideas through Instagram (@thewrestlegram) & Twitter (@RealWrestleDude).

With 2020 being one of the most bizarre years in the world, wrestling had to adapt to the changes that came throughout the year. Despite obstacles and there being no certainty of what the future holds, promotions still put up some of the greatest shows and entertained the fans all through the year.
There's no better way to start 2021 than to award the superstars who made 2020 memorable and look back on some of the best things that came out of it. Thus the End of Year Awards came to life to recognize the amazing superstars, matches, stories & promotions that made 2020 bearable and gave fans a place to turn to for entertainment.
Have a listen to find out which superstars won in the different categories and made 2020 a year to remember by clicking the link in my bio!
A huge thank you to all the guests who helped announce the winners and we hope to have you on again next year!

It doesn't stop there, in a bonus episode coming soon we also talked about how superstars have climbed the ladder to become the big names they are and how an invasion angle can be a huge boost for WWE & AEW.

In this episode, I spoke with Kim Artlip, owner and promotor of IGNITE Wrestling in Florida. We had a chat about how IGNITE came to life and how it becoming a much bigger part of the indies with its current roster and shows it was putting up. Kim has worked with the likes of current WWE Superstars Lince Dorado, Santana Garrett, Kayden (FKA Lacey Lane), Danny Burch, AEW Superstar Serpentico, and former Smackdown GM Teddy Long.
The pandemic has set a lot of wrestling promotions back by miles but, as everything starts to re-open again a new normal has come into play with socially distanced shows with masks. This is exactly what IGNITE will be doing when they return in January with their 5-year anniversary show which Kim explained in more detail. We also spoke about if it is a good idea to start having limited live crowds at shows and what challenges Kim faced as a woman entering the wrestling business. Kim has made it her goal to keep the fans wanting more and pushing the women's division by creating a Women's Tag Team Division which is not seen much throughout the indies.
