The toughest thing to do at times is to wait patiently for the outcomes we desire. In our present moments that we have to show patience, it's important to nurture our growth, empathy and acceptance in the process. It's harder...but it's worth it!
When things really rub us the wrong way, we at times may react negatively. Most of the time when we react in negative ways, we make the situation worse making us feel more awful than before. As educators it's important that we demonstrate and practice "Self-Control". It helps all of us to handle tough situations more calmly and gets us closer to the outcome we desire. When we show self-control, it empowers our communities and school to become more connected and collaborative. This is how we change our world! This is how we shine!
Listen in on the importance of KINDNESS! It is better to be kind or to just nice! Nice...so passive while kindness is intentional even when you feel that some don't deserve it! In life we may have setbacks that either have us to fall in sudden dramatic situations or simply have us taking different path that desired. Either way, potholes and detours strengthen our endurance and push us forward with resilience to get to our true destiny.
