The X-Files Podcast

If you hate metaphors and love this episode it'd be wise to take a pass. Josh is surrounded by devils this week, and they whisper corrupt influences into his ear. Will he have the power to resist? Spin the wheel of wacky X-files episode types and you'll come up with a variety that seems a bit incongruous. That is the best way to describe "Nothing Lasts Forever". Josh and Dean agree that this episode has some great moments, but is - at times - inexplicably silly. Is this an episode that is lifted beyond how good it is by the likes of Fox and Scully?  

The X-Files goes back to its wooded roots with “Familiar” and the lads dig it. Listen on as they try to figure out rampaging cops, Chief Strong’s angular features, and predators both sexual and canine. Pro tip: don’t let your children watch Biggletiggles or Mr. Chuckleteeth.

Good morning X-Files faithful! During the live recording I officially announced that “Gethsemane” would be LSG’s last X-Files recording. I did not come to this decision easily, and ultimately this decision rests with me. The most difficult part of this realization was knowing that I would no longer be talking to all of you about the X-Files. I wanted to thank all of you for being there with us during the live recordings, and for always commenting on our Facebook posts, and for always making our various contests fun and engaging. You are one of the best communities going. I wanted to thank Josh for his contribution to this show over the years. He’s been a fine co-host and producer. Make sure you show him some support and check out his podcast, Nastgram (https://www.facebook.com/Nastygram/). They are producing content weekly, and if you’ve ever been curious about things like D&D and other role-playing games, I’d highly recommend it. Additionally, the lads discuss Gen-X Mulder's self-torturing ways and how outrageous it would be to not be jumping for joy to get out of jail. Mulder should consider utilizing a lawyer, and listening to what Scully is saying instead of doing his best impersonation as the Incredible Sulk.
