I initially read the book, "Raising Resilient Kids" by Rhonda Spencer-Hang, to make sure I'm raising my kids with good habits and as healthy as possible. But then, it got me thinking - could these principles that she discussed work on adults' resiliency too? What drew me in was that she studied centenarians (people who live past 100 years old) and what their lives were like. What if we could all apply those same habits and practices to our lives as well? I had to make an episode about this for you guys, especially since we are all motivated right now because of the New Year! I had to pop in to the office to record this episode so I can formally say Happy New Year to you all and give my advice for how I think you should approach your goals in 2024. As much as this podcast is about reaching goals and accomplishing our dreams, it should never deter you from living in the moment. I reference the section in Vishen Lakhiani's book, "The 6 Phase Meditation Method," about the Happiness Gap to break this down for you and hopefully encourage you to focus on gratitude and the present instead of chasing happiness with every goal or to-do list. The 6 Phase Meditation Method: The Proven Technique to Supercharge Your Mind, Manifest Your Goals, and Make Magic in Minutes a Day by Vishen Lakhianihttps://amzn.to/3NC8TyfYegi is a young entrepreneur who has always been curious and hardworking. We are so excited to have Neil Rogers on The Yegi Project today! He took everything he learned about sales and hospitality during his time as a bartender and wrote a book, "Bar Tips: Everything I Needed to Know in Sales I Learned Behind the Bar." We dive deep into how he discovered that bartending, which isn't typically associated with sales, actually fueled his sales skills in his life and in his promotional marketing company. Other topics in this episode include why selling skills aren't only needed for entrepreneurs, and how you even go about writing a book in the first place! Buy Neil's Book! TW: This episode does talk about pregnancy and pregnancy loss - if you're uncomfortable hearing about these topics, please feel free to skip this video and I'll see you in the next one. 🤎✨ In a recent interview, Robin Byrne, the author of The Secret,  talked about how the law of attraction works, it got me thinking... how would use the law of attraction to get pregnant if I was having any trouble? This isn't medical advice, but based on my experience, I know that these methods did help me, especially when I was potentially going to lose a pregnancy. Don't underestimate the power of the law of attraction! I hope this can help or at least give you or someone you know another option to try in your pregnancy journey. 🤎✨Watch Robin Byrne's interview on how the law of attraction works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ypFjAkwVZ4The Secret Book Series: https://amzn.to/3QOWrgF Follow The Yegi Project on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/theyegiprojectFollow The Yegi Project on TiKTok! https://www.tiktok.com/@theyegiprojectYegi is a young entrepreneur who has always been curious and hardworking.
