It was an agonizing week to be a state of Michigan sport fan. The A-word adjectives have set in for Andy while Ryan rants about the state of State. So much going on around the NFL, CFB, and beyond. Stop reading... just listen!
We've got Lions and Tigers and Spartans... oh my. Good on the Lions. Good on the Tigers. But about those Spartans? Eesh. Lots of takes on the Jonathan Smith experiment in EL - mostly bad. Tons going on in the Big Ten and CFB at large so without further ado, pull up a chair, grab a brew and stew with us.
The Tigers are off the rails and on the brink. The Ryder Cup was a disaster. CFB saw 3-4-5 lose, two at home. No MSU to pick apart but the Lions stayed the course. It was an interesting week in sports and we're here to break it all down...
What a week for sports... we're coming off an epic Lions win. A game but not good enough performance by the Spartans. An epic, historic collapse by the Tigers. One of the best weekend's you'll see coming up -- with marquee CFB and NFL matchups all over the tune PLUS the Ryder Cup. We go long this week because your co-hosts were in their bag...
Fun fact... the CFB season is a quarter gone already. Let that sink in! Baseball races are in their final two weeks. Can the Tigers clinch the Central for the first time in a loooong time? Michigan State and the Lions acquitted themselves nicely. There was some fun around CFB and the NFL. Give us an hour and we'll get you in the know...
