It is with their help and support I have weathered the storms that raged as I came home to England after another 5 years of absence. First came the television show Celebrity Big Brother and I was there for two weeks. After the first 6 days I was told that my ex-husband and business partner was dead after an 18 month battle with cancer. Then I got sick probably caught something from the cold or the AC ventilation sytstems and had to take dreaded antibiotics but they worked and made me well. Then I left the Celebrity Big Brother House and was very busy with the accompanying interest surrounding the show and also the interest in DAVID and my appreciations of him both as a beloved and International performer, singer, songwriter, actor and producer my former Love and father of our son Duncan Jones. We will talk about all this and hear some fabulous music. I heard from a little birdy that Jude may reveal a track from my new album!!!! And we will play some tracks from Dana's new album and we will hear Tara's new tracks and favorites. JOIN US FOR A COOL and LIVELY conversation on the radio. Podcast available a few minutes after the show! We willbe playing Dana's Music but she will not be joining us for this show as she has been recuperating from serious knee surgery!

From Wendy's Father Fred Steiner who wrote the Perry Mason theme music, Twilight Zone music, Rocky & Bullwinkle through the excitement of Bryndle which Wendy formed with Karla Bonoff, Andrew Gold & Kenny Edwards in the 1970s that prepared Wendy for the camaraderie and team work of song-writing and production and touring. Wendy's dedication to music and her expertise at juggling genres and ideas with pleasing musical results has assured her professional standing and admiration. Let's expand that remarkable audience and hear the expanse of Wendy's musical library! The songs march forward with brilliance and regularity, the proof positive of dedication and delight at the world of international music! In the early 1980s Wendy arrived during the Musical Renaissance in Nashville. With Phil Galdston and John Lind, they wrote 'Save the Best for Last.' Vanessa Williams did The Sweetest Days' and Aaron Neville struck chart time with 'I Owe You One.' 'The Refugees was formed in 2007 and comprises Cindy Buffens, Deborah Holland and Wendy Waldman. The Weekend Wilburys is the latest Family Friendly entertainment event and features Jeff Slate and the music of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, George Harrison, Roy Orbison and ELO. Jeff Slate is supported by Steve Holley, Rick Mullen and Jimmy McElliott. Birds of Paradox is Jeff's solo album and was released in 2012 and includes performances from many New York iconic musicians including our favorite Gary Van Scyoc on bass, Adam Ippoloto on Keyboards and Steve Holley on Drums. May Pang is responsible for many of the Birds Of Paradise members meeting each other and cooperating to make thuis wonderful album which featrues the art work of our very own Rick Hunt.November 2013 continued Jeff Slate's wonderful musical contribution to LIVE MUSIC with "Imposters and Attractions" which features 10 original compostions and two Costello classics and this album was released in a digital version. The best description of Jeff Slate's talent is in Jon Friedman's Bob Dylan biography "Forget about Today" "If you want to understand what makes Jeff Slate tick, just watch him perform in concert. It's all you really need to know about him as a bandleader, guitarist and singer. His love of the life and the work comes across in his music. When I caught Jeff at a late night gig here in New York City last summer, I was reminded once again, by the sheer therapeutic power of music to make people feel happy - that is when the sound is in the hands oi someone who loves what he is doing and wants to make a crowd happy."
The Ruts are 'PUNKS' FORGOTTEN HEROES' according to the Telegraph reviewing a sold-our show of the band at the Brixton Academy with Henry Rollins doing vocals. The show blew everyone away and reminded us why The Ruts are not only legendary but for a reason not just for the use  of the word! There was an even more compassionate element in the mix: When Fox was diagnosed with terminal cancer, the show became the band's tribute to him and resulted in Henry Rollins coming over to the UK and lending his vocals as Front Man. They are a Mainstay Punk band. Their stance against racism and their firm opposition to Political B.S. and Corruption in Capitalism are memorialzed in some fine music! The questions we are asking Segs will be revealed: Band Status, touring and new albums.....we need to know it all! I have plenty of Seg's music to enjoy this afternoon.
Angie Bowie and Rick Hunt with all the news and playing tunes from some of out favorite guests.
