Russia, 1917, and American journalists John Reed and Louise Bryant find themselves in Petrograd on the eve of a revolution. Join them as they rub shoulders with Lenin, stumble through debates and near-death experiences, and discover what they’re willing to sacrifice for their beliefs. A show for anybody who’s ever wanted to change the world. An irreverent musical featuring spoken word and protest songs, 10 Days won the Best New Writing Award at Liverpool Fringe and was called “Perfect upbeat Friday night entertainment” by Backstage Bristol. It was first created in 2019 for the centenary of the publication of Reed’s book. This audio version was recorded in 2020, a hundred years on from Reed’s death, for the Thornhill Virtual Fringe. 10 Days That Shook The World was based on the works of John Reed, Louise Bryant, and others.
