I am glad I found this the first week of the podcast and listened each day. the background music is not a distraction for me.
I really want to like this podcast. I generally enjoy what Dr. Ferguson has to say. But the background music is very distracting.
Again, this is another wonderful edition of Dr Ferguson's podcast devotional, Things Unseen. It would be wonderful however if the theme music could be faded out as Sinclair begins to speak and then gradually ushered back in again towards the end. I do struggle to focus on what he is saying all the way through as my attention is divided by the music, sadly this is a common thing for those of us who are neurodivergent. We find it exhausting to focus on one thing when distractions are present.
Things Unseen is an excellent daily devotional that fits so well into my morning time with God, along with many of Ligonier's other podcasts. It does indeed cause me to think on the subject matter and how this applies to my own life. It's encouraging, comforting and honest. Sinclair Ferguson is an excellent Theologian and Bible teacher and has delivered many sermons at Ligonier conferences etc, available on their YouTube channel, app and website. I would definitely recommend them.
glory be to the LORD for all He has done.
This has been wonderful encouragement. I pray you will have the strength and courage to persevere with this podcast through this new year. May the Lord bless this ministry to his church.
