Love Is A Verb

Love Is A Verb

2024-07-3113:31

Imagine if we all treated love as an action rather than just a fleeting emotion. This week on "This Doesn't Count as Therapy," we draw from Dr. Bell Hooks' seminal work, "All About Love," to challenge the conventional wisdom about love and relationships. By redefining love as a verb, we explore how commitment, responsibility, and intentional effort can transform our connections with others. This episode is a heartfelt call to show up intentionally in all our interactions, to celebrate the diverse ways love manifests beyond romance.Grab a copy of All About Love here: https://bellhooksbooks.com/ Send us a textSupport the showThis is not a substitute for therapy and should not be used as a replacement for the therapeutic relationship, individualized mental health or medical care.
