It must be tough to have everything. This episode was trash. A spoiled kid made bad decisions, I saved you an hour.

I had to stop listening. I don’t know him but he comes across like a narcissist and I don’t know Katie but I couldn’t listen but this guy could tell the story like we should feel sorry for him.

Thank you for speaking out as to what had happened to you. I was sexually assaulted by my neighbour, who was 5 years older than me this happened when I was 9. He wanted to play hide and seek with the neighbourhood kids and took me behind a shed. I thought I was pregnant for over a year and have since had trouble trusting peoples motivations. I hope one day I can share it with my parents (I'm now 38) but don't want to unnecessary cause them to feel bad about how I was raised (they had more freedom than I did). I have a daughter and unfortunately because of what happened to me I do not trust her neighbourhood friends and am extra vigilant on what they do when playing together about what they are up to, they play outside almost everyday. My daughter and I have much more open communication than I did with my own parents on anything she wants to tell me and for that I am super grateful for that. I felt stunted my growth growing up based on that event and I too tried to put it in a bow and lock it away, I never talked to a therapist but I am happy with where I am at now and have forgiven the asshole who did it (internally only bc i think he was abused as well.) I hope the rest of your life gives you the satisfaction you wish for :) Thanks, Jill

Having been shot myself, I would never allow my experience to color, change or infringe on your Constitutional right. She's still dealing with the trauma and has not resolved her experience.

I noticed a lot of these start about the person having a "sheltered" life, like it's a bad thing, it's like they take a father and mother who are trying to raise the family and protected environment and label it negatively. so is it better for a child to live in an unsheltered life and experience horrible things so that when they grow up and experience horrible things they're already used to experiencing horrible things? 🤔

No sympathy for what happened but I can emphasize with that feeling of being trapped by debt and wanting to avoid the rat race, especially at a young age. I still feel like that tbh. Good to hear he made the positive changes in his life and wish him luck going forward

Please people listen and move on. why do you feel that you have the right to judge? and why do you have the need to leave hurtful comments‽ we all experience life differently. No one can say what is traumatic or not.

I suspect that the change needs to be radical. There is no point to send the middleman to jail meanwhile the owners of the business are in parliament, are member of the royal family, etc. Once and again drugs are wining the war on drugs.

This is so fake. Pulled straight from a criminal minds episode. Y’all need to vet your guests better. This dude is just lying through his teeth. Survivors stick together not turn on each other even if death is on the table. This dude is a pathological liar and a scumbag for trying to sell this as a true story.
