Hi,I know, I said these would have to end, but playing at the festival made me realise it's too hard to just stop, maybe just releasing less is the other option, so as it''s summer and I have been buying loads of music, with the holiday season here just had to have some time of the decks, the output is 2 episodes, 1 tech house the other some slower techno.Have a great summer, this has been one I won't forget for good reasons.Matt
Hi All,After a little break while starting a new job, guess what you get booked to play a festival in the UK, supporting the likes of Baby D, Brandon Block, Danny Rampling amongst other top headlines acts, so thought I better get some practice in and here is the result. Hope you have all had a great Xmas and ready for a party tonight? To help things along I have done 2 mixes, the first is more laid back Afro / Deep / Prog house plenty of the tunes you will know from 2024 and some great remixes of some old classics, so I called this Both ends of the spectrum as I normally play pretty hard borderline techno more recently, this should get most people ready for a night, the second mix which I will post later is more like everything I have played in 2024, which is called Curtain Call as this will be the last episode, I just can't find the time each month to get a mix on and then spam you lot with a monthly update, had great 4 and bit years putting these together, but I have some changes coming in 2025 which will mean even less time for music, more to come on the changes when things are officially ready to be announced but it's very exciting for me and the family. Hi All,Been a while, every time I think I am about to get more time with music, things take a different direction, but that hasn't meant I don't think about what to do next, so a little re-brand with a new name for the series, this is not something I have taken lightly, the more music I buy and add to the episodes I move away from Future House and have recently been playing a little harder, I also want to release more episodes across all EDM, so a slight change to the name seemed right.This first episode is as the title states slightly harder than usual, we seem to be seeing a return to harder tracks and dare I say a start to move back to Hard Dance, the next episode will show these thoughts off a little more.Anyway enough from me rambling on, enjoy the music.Matt X
Hi All,What a night and weekend this was, it was a great end honour to be asked to close their night on a special day, I went pretty commercial but with some incredible remixes of some big hits.Track of the night had to be Synaesthesia, had everyone up jumping around throwing some shapes.I still can't make my mind up on finishing the Podcast releases as I run out of time each month and just not buying much music at the moment, so a little break and make a decision while relaxing by pool for a couple of weeks.What ever you are up to over the rest of what has been an odd summer enjoy peeps.And thanks again to Olls & Ems for letting smash this out.Matt X

Hi All,Well I failed badly on the 3 other mixes I promised for the 4 year anniversary, life is just way to busy at the moment to get much time on the decks, so here is mix 2, slightly later than planned and slightly different genre this time, slightly more house and dance than the harder stuff, already working on the next mix, I will get it out earlier than the last wait time, struggling with finding good music, the Future House and Main Stage stuff has all gone down Techno route and whilst I like some Techno it's not what I want to be playing, so the future is unknown on how long these podcasts keep going or maybe a change in direction... Who knows.The track of the moment is second on this episode which is "You & Me" Rivo Remix, is getting smashed everywhere over the summer.Enjoy the mix Matt
Hi All,A couple of months off, wondering what to do next, Rebrand, Different Style, Stop putting these out.....Couldn't make my mind up on any of the above but had to celebrate a milestone of 4 years, here is some of the classics from the last few years and a slightly longer edition to make up for the lack of episodes, so I have decided to do 3 mixes over 3 the next 3 weeks, 1 slightly different but still the usual uplifting music, the final mix will set the scene for 2024, I might even try and play out somewhere this year, always wondered if I am actually good enough, maybe the 1000's of downloads says I am but who knows, hopefully this mix can wash away the shocking weather we have and help turn the corner into spring.Anyway enjoy the mix, it ranks up there with some of the best I have put out.Play it loud and play it proud.Matt x
Evening All,Well here we are again, it's NYE, been an odd year for me, but the music has been great, in a year Techno is becoming a headline genre a getting some major coverage on social, to hearing sounds that resemble Trance and Hard Dance being produced with BPM's around the 140 - 150 bpm in the charts, things seem to be going full circle, talking full circle I now have all my loved vinyl out with the 1210's setup with my digital setup. May even drop some banging Hard House and Trance on my Mix Cloud.On to this instalment, always hard to pick the best tracks to go into an hour mix, so I picked the uplifting end of spectrum, Enjoy it, my track of the year has to be the Dance Monkey remix which just had to be included.What ever you are doing tonight, have a great night, here is to an amazing 2024.Play it Loud and Play it Proud.........Matt
Hi All,Just squeezed in a release in November, not much to say a little slower, just as banging and here comes the party season look out for the next release got some plans for December as a thanks for all the people that listen and share, already working on the Year Mix, just way to many good tracks to choose from.It can't be Christmas until I have had my birthday........ Hi All,So it's been some time since posting, after a family bereavement I just couldn't face music listening mixing and just generally enjoying it, after spending some time thinking about carrying on with the podcast, after getting a little nostalgic about life, I started going back through some really old tracks I thought is seemed fitting to drop a mix with the tracks that made me fall in love with this genre of music, so here we go, all from 2014 onwards, some classics and other timeless tracks, I love this mix, it means a lot to me for many reasons, a lot of the lyrics resonate in many different ways, I hope you enjoy it...Matt

Hi All,Been terrible again at sharing some mixes, so gone for something a little different to bring things up to date I have done 3 different genre of mixes, The Biginning which is more commercial, tech house to get things started, this was a mix I put together for my daughter when she went away on a school trip abroad, she even had the teachers jumping around to it. "The Middle" is the usual blend of future house and EDM, followed by a take the roof off finale called The End, closes out with the biggest track in the world right now, which is all over social media, it's a Techno track but if it works play it.... It's called Push It. Enjoy the 3 mixes and again thanks for all the downloads & plays. France is by far the biggest country to download last month. But wherever you are have a great weekend........
