This episode is a little on the long side because it’s been a minute since I’ve talked to comedians thanks to the pandemic and I was just having a good time. Episode 31 Escape Room

Episode 31 Escape Room

2019-02-2818:08

Listen as I talk about turning 30.
In this episode I talk about working out, New Years resolutions, and my family from the south.
Listen to my second solo episode where I talk to myself like the uninformed idiot I am. I rant about the holidays and what not.
So in an attempt to get better at stand up I took a page from a few of my favorite comedians and tried doing a podcast by myself. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I definitely need to get used to it but I'll be doing these more regularly in hopes of generating topics and things to write about. Feel free to give it a listen and I hope it makes you laugh. Please leave me some feedback and let me know what you think.
previously when we had Mike Bobbitt on the show at the end of the episode when Mike is telling a rather interesting story involving himself, Dave Landau an audience and a gun the podcast cut off. I didn't realize that my card was full when we were recording and I apologize. How ever it ended up being a blessing in disguise, because of this I was able to get not only Mike back into to tell the story but have Dave Landau in to tell his side as well. Listen in as these to share some amazing road stories and reminisce as I listen along intently. I'm a guest on this episode as I think I only said two things because I never wanted to slow down any of the conversation.
Listen in as I interview one of my all time favorite comedians and try to learn as much as I can from him. However the times have changed since he's been doing stand up I was still able to learn a lot about determination, drive and work ethic. This is a great interview with an emphasis on stand up but also touches a little on everything Tommy has his hands in now. I was a little nervous during the interview but you can hear that I get a little more comfortable towards the end. I hope you guys like it as this was a dream come true for me! Tommy is an autobiographical story telling comedian who is a favorite at comedy clubs all across the country. TV credits include: Seven appearances on “The Late Show” with David Letterman, Two appearances on Conan. Two half-hour specials on Comedy Central, Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” and, “John Oliver’s New York Stand-up Show”. In 2010 he finished 2nd on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He’s also appeared on CMT’s “Comedy Stage” and TBS’s “Very Funny Stand Up Show” In 2007 Tommy was invited to the prestigious “Just For Laughs” comedy festival in Montreal, Canada where he was the highest reviewed “New Face.” He has also appeared at Comedy Central’s “South Beach Comedy Festival” He has also been a guest numerous times on the nationally syndicated radio programs “The Bob and Tom Show” and the “The Ron and Fez Show”.
Episode 25 Dustin Burwell

Episode 25 Dustin Burwell

2018-06-0701:55:51

Listen in as I sit down with fellow comic, guest, friend and fan of the show Dustin Burwell. Dustin is a peer and one of my better friends in comedy. He's an all around good guy who works insanely hard to pursue this dream while supporting a family and putting on monthly shows at Tecumseh Brewing Co, which I will be headlining on August 18th.
Listen is as I have Steve Hansen and Billy Reno in to talk about an upcoming show will be doing together to benefit the Animal Welfare Society of South Eastern Michigan. In this episode we talk shop about comedy, share some stories about running shows and learn a little bit about each others background. I hope you enjoy the episode and more importantly I hope you come out Next Friday, June 8th to Sterling Lanes in Sterling Heights MI to watch some live comedy and support this great organization. 2018-05-2453:02

Listen in as I sit down with Al Ducharme and learn about his past and present in stand up and how he became the national headliner he is today. In the start of his career Al would often hit the road with the likes of Bill Burr and Louie CK but it wasn’t all laughs and fun. He had trouble keeping a job as a private investigator while perusing his dream.
