When I first walked through the Mecca Doors I identified with the clubs shift towards disco and Modern Soul .....but now looking back I find myself drawn more and more back to that pure 60s Northern Soul Sound .........
The 100 Club in London first opened its doors in 1942 ...but by the late 1970s as the golden age of of wigan casino was coming to a close they started all nighters and to this day they still play the Northern Soul .
