T and L you are spot on about the weak plot lines in White Lotus season 3. For me, the best part of season 3 wasn't the show itself, but rather the weekly recap comment section in the New York Times. I loved reading as well as posting my own episode predictions and insights every week. I think our comments would have made for much better story arcs than what was presented on the show!

I am so grateful you're chiming in on this- I've been fantasizing about directing or acting in The Silmarilion for decades, and have been looking forward to hear your incisive critiques on this. I wish there were MORE BIPOC & LGBTQ+ characters in the series!! Fantasy and Sci Fi have always broken rules and I think if JRR Tolkien were alive now he would agree! His stories were a mirror to society's ills and evils of hatred!
