What is reality? What is the nature of consciousness? How do we know that what we are experiencing is base reality and not a simulation? These may seem like the kind of questions that you’d associate with modern concepts like The Matrix and simulation theory, but the fact is that every ancient philosophical tradition has wrestled with these problems in some form or another. And with the advent of rich, complex VR worlds and the nascent metaverse, even more philosophers are turning toward these deep questions of consciousness and the human experience.
One of the most interesting thinkers in this space is David Chalmers, Professor of Philosophy and Neural Science at New York University, and co-director of the Center for Mind, Brain, and Consciousness. In his latest book, Reality+: virtual worlds and the problems of philosophy, David investigates not only the nature of reality, but how we should conceptualize virtual reality, the idea that we can actually live a meaningful life in VR, how we know there’s an external world, and much more.
We explore these topics and more in today’s wide-ranging conversation, covering everything from the hard problem of consciousness to the probability that we’re actually living in a computer simulation. You don’t have to be a student of philosophy to enjoy today’s conversation - especially if you’re as excited as I am about the possibilities being unlocked by virtual reality and the metaverse.

So you want to be wealthy and financially free in 3 years? It’s not an impossible dream, stranger things have happened, but there are a few things to consider and today’s episode is food for thought on if you know the money game well enough to build your wealth and get rich in 3 years. Tom is giving a masterclass on all the things he’s learned from building multiple multi-million dollar businesses over the years. He isn’t someone that’s rich because he came from a wealthy family.
Tom is the successful entrepreneur he is because he took some hard lumps from life alone the way of figuring out that digging in his sofa for enough change to put gas in his car wasn’t the way he wanted to live. In this episode Tom is joined by David, Noelle, and George, answering their questions about what it takes to build the kind of wealth most of us believe would be amazing. Tom doesn’t claim to be a money expert, but does say with confidence that he’s learned to get very good at making money.
The key to getting rich he’s learned is understanding that this is a money game, and you can’t win the game until you learn the rules.
So, when you say you want to be rich or you think about how awesome it would be to actually start building the kind of wealth that changes the way your future grandchildren will live, make sure you become a “die hard executor” and know your risk tolerance. What does ‘being rich’ or ‘wealthy’ mean to you?

Many of us can admit to loving a good underdog story. You want to see the main character go through their perilous journey and come out on the other side victorious after the big battle or challenge that was seemingly impossible. When that story is real life, it causes you to pause and take inventory of your own story. What situation are you facing, how is your current situation in comparison to the underdog you just cheered for?
Sometimes those questions can really sting, especially if you feel like or can see proof that you are not living up to your full potential. Wallo267, is an incredible entrepreneur, marketer, and self-made millionaire that joins me to discuss how his no BS mentality took him from a life of crime to a life filled with meaning, purpose, and unmistakable success.
He was in and out of jail from the age of 11 and eventually served a 20 year prison sentence. What he’s accomplished in this time and came out of jail equipped and prepared to do will leave you speechless and questioning exactly how you’re using excuses and potentially clinging to a victim mentality.. From Philly to Hollywood, these are lessons on building an extraordinarily successful business from nothing.

Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, blockchain, and NFTs, when does it all stop and go away? Good news, chances are it never will. Bad news, chances are it’s not going away and if you’ve been avoiding this conversation, it needs to end today. Cryptocurrency is the fastest growing technology we’ve ever witnessed in human history. 10 years ago people doubted it, laughed at it, and blew it off.
Today, countries like Nigeria, Vietnam and the Philippines are starting to adopt crypto. What is often rejected and feared is typically not understood. While billionaires and master investors once turned their backs to Bitcoin and the crypto world, they are slowly coming around and see the potential of what this currency and technology really is.
Anthony Pompliano joins Tom to put you on notice and help you better understand exactly why low income and middle class people literally cannot afford to continue dismissing the potential for building wealth with cryptocurrency.
Blockchain is happening and there is a major shift in wealth and purchasing power taking place. You owe it to yourself and to your future generations to at least do some more research, investigate and find out how you can better leverage the potential that a new digital world represents for you. The cost of entry is low, it’s decentralized, and for the first time you are not restricted by your income to take advantage.

Richard Craib is the founder of the crowdsourced quant hedge fund, Numerai, which is using sophisticated machine learning to create models that essentially predict how the stock market moves.
During this conversation with Tom, Richard is sharing how crypto is breaking the barriers of the old financial system that was meant to protect people, while effectively keeping everyone out. This is another resource that can be really useful in seeing the bitcoin revolution, blockchain and cryptocurrency in another light, especially through the lens of finance.
