Description

Nextcorp has secretly been developing a revolutionary new mind app that promises to amplify the human brain in incredible ways. "Shut-Eye," promises to change the world by eliminating its users’ need to sleep, but when participants of the human trials begin dying off, the program is shut down. Max starts testing the product on himself, unleashing a dormant and dangerous alter ego. As Jack goes toe to toe with Max and his fractured psyche, he finds himself on the run for his life in a race to stop a dark plot seeking to radically advance humankind to its next stage of evolution.

Please do another season. This show offers a compelling take on transhumanism, and innovation over safety.
This might be a good podcast but I've heard the same 2 commercials within the first 14 minutes of episode 1. There are way better podcasts out there commercial free. I think It's a sign I should check out the other podcasts in my queue and move on. Maybe it's a better experience on another platform.

So far, so excellent. Wonderful cast. Interesting premise. Masterful pacing, which is too often the major flaw of these multi-part stories. Eagerly awaiting the next instalments. If this is cancelled early without a proper conclusion, I will stay awake for 13 days & nights in protest.

This is an excellent podcast! Seriously , where have these voice actors been? I do not recognize their names but that could just be me because the acting is superb ! The story is also well written and an original take on the subject of smart pills . Highly recommend and I look forward to new episodes!
You have 5 minutes to get my attention. You have 10 minutes to keep. This podcast failed at both. There is so much content available. I don't need to waste my time with stuff that isn't entertaining.

Loving this. Hopefully we could get a massive visual either as a series or as a movie.
I love a good techno thriller, and this had me binging the first four episodes in one day. It feels a bit like a documentary in places, but I think that is brought on by the way the main character is written as though speaking/narrating directly to you rather than just as thoughts in his mind. Sound design is phenomenal. Enough to immerse without being too overbearing with sound effects. Writing is marvelous, with clear indications between recordings/conversations/thought/narrations. The way the scenes were written, I could visualize characters walking down a hall, racing across a parking lot, staring pensively out a window or into a rearview mirror as they wonder if that car following them is just a coincidence... I am excited for more!
