Some experiences are so creepy that it will leave you questioning if you are actually dreaming, or if you have just died.   In the first story, a couple of friends are having fun driving about at night when they miss a stop sign and are met with a thick wall of trees. And for a few moments, all goes black, the engine dies, the forest is silent, and the world seems to stand still, leading one of them to ask "did we just die?"   In the second story, a couple of friends go out for lunch with their kids after picking them up from school. After sending them home however, one of them texts the other saying that she had left her hand sanitizer in her car, only for her friend to remark that hers was still firmly clipped to her purse.   Clip that Genesis mentioned at the start of the episode: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DO-urPDD2b1/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link   If you would like to submit your stories or send Genesis a message, you can head over to @tmgn_podcast on Instagram.   This podcast is brought to you by Mediacorp.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode, we dive into one of the most infamous urban legends from Shanghai, Linjia lane no 37. What started as the discovery of a grisly crime scene in 1956 would soon take a turn for the stranger as one of the bodies found had actually been pronounced dead 5 years ago. Later, testimonies from neighbours would uncover people who didn't age or strange symbols being drawn on their windows. And as if things couldn't get any weirder, floorplans would reveal a hidden room within the building, one that was strangely determined not to let anyone in.
