Come along on the journey with me as we get real.

Going back to your hometown after moving is always interesting. Here is what I have learned from visiting home after months of being on this self-love/ mental health journey and being around or in close proximity to people and places that broke me!
Is it getting hot in here?! Just me, oh okay! A lot of people asked me why I am doing what I am doing and how did all of this come about. I have struggled in silence for years, hid it from close friends, family, and even myself. As part of the journey, I have begun to embark on it had to start with being ridiculously honest with yourself and being very honest with the people that were closest to me as well. I want to be as transparent as possible and this episode sheds some light on my life and how I have gotten to where I am at now.
Mindfulness and respect for others' feelings play a big unspoken role in mental health. However, there is a lack of education when it comes to mental health, therefore a lack of mindfulness and respect. In this episode, I briefly go over some common types of mental health illnesses and some very general and broad signs and symptoms that people should be aware of. Disclaimer, I am not a mental health care professional I am not licensed and I am not here to give a diagnosis, I am just putting out very general information found on the internet to help people be mindful of others' feelings because validating feelings is key to mental health.
#F**k The Stigma is a thing and it should be used all the time. In this episode, we are discussing what is a stigma and how it negatively impacts a person's mental health.

Hi babies, welcome to another episode, thank you for coming back and listening to what I have to say. This topic hit near and dear to my heart due to some recent events in my life that have shown me people's true colors and have lifted the color blindness from my eyes so that I can truly see the red flags that I love to ignore. I have come to realize that I have been sabotaging myself for a long time. It is a real thing and I list a few ways that I have personally been disrupting my own happiness. I hope this can resonate with some and help to get you out of this self-sabotage.
