We sit down for a good old lesbian classic and all around feel good film- Imagine Me & You, spit some serious truths and dedicate this entire episode of laughter to our sweet Lister Sister Kimberly Lawless Ivora who left this world for the next recently.  The moral of the story for this episode is to live your truth, laugh hard and often, and love eachother with a fierceness- always. 

Welcome back for episode 10 of Top Hat Topics. This week we take a deep dive into another beautiful, lesbian love story that is near and dear to our hearts- Fried Green Tomatoes. We make some Gentleman Jack comparisons, and discuss some hard issues of the American South dealing with homophobia, the ugliness of institutionalized racism, and the way grief manifests differently in people. In our first hiatus episode of Top Hat Topics we give you a recap of Gentleman Jack season 1 in our own words, discuss highs and lows (which really just lead to highs), our season 2 predictions, and a load of banter regarding the absolute magic of this story and what we have coming your way. We thought this would be short and sweet and it turned out to be our longest episode. Cheers. 

Y'all, we have reached the epic conclusion of season 1 of Gentleman Jack and it has been our honor to share this journey with you all! Join us as we somehow managed to get through this with the help of madeira after some crisis level technical difficulties. Let us all bask in what is surely the best and possibly only happy ending in queer media history.  We will be back with more hiatus episodes weekly until season 2- let us know what you want to hear from us!
