Hello and welcome to TournaMint Julep! After not posting since March 10th, we’ve finally got our shit together and put out an episode. This was originally supposed to be a bonus episode, so we are starting out a little too buzzed, and it may be our most crass topic yet. Join us, as we speak about our celebrity crushes of those that are unconventionally attractive (or in Chas’ case with her #1 pick, a very conventionally attractive person). Also, unfortunately we had drank a little too much to include Charles Barkley or a few others that usually pop up in similar conversations. In a perfect world (or an ’80s film), you would be clued in to our weeks of Chasity taking medications and being to sick to podcast, Brittany working through podcast hours and Jason watching politics with impending doom music. Unfortunately, Chas is out sick and we didn’t want to start off the year with a one-episode January, so Jason and Britt dig in to an episode topic that Chas could care less about! Happy New Year! What? It’s the 15th? Shit. Oh well, we are a wee bit late, but this is our New Year’s special, taped at St. Pancras International Rail Station’s clock tower suite. We use the podcast and pop culture as an excuse to talk about ourselves and our favorite experiences throughout the year of 2016. If you ever wanted to hear three normies speak about what gets us excited, this is the place, and we do so over some solid European beers and wine! It’s not all self-indulgent though, as we do touch on pop culture. Welcome back to TournaMint Julep! Many apologies from us this week as we are rebounding from the loss of a computer to just now editing our podcast again. This week, we focus on animated films outside of the world of Disney. A bit of informed consent here - we love Disney, be it in the form of Star Wars, Marvel, Muppets, Disney Classic Animation canon, Pixar or the parks, so this was a chore for us. If we were religious folk, Walt Disney would definitely take the place of our God-figure, and this conversation, we delve into those pleasurable moments of blasphemy outside of the church of mouse.
