We did not return to the regularly scheduled programming this morning when the Holy Spirit began to move! We were instructed to slow down and take the time to listen to our brothers and sisters. We were instructed to treat each other with compassion. Just like Jesus sat with unlikely friends, we are invited to reach across the aisle and love with humility. We are invited to Stop It! Shut Up! Sit Down! and Be Humble. If you’re ready for v4 Conference, text CONFERENCE to 828282 or visit transformchurch.us/v4 for updates!
In Week 6 of the Receipts Sermon Series, Pastor Michael taught on the fruit of the Spirit: faithfulness. Inspired by Dr. Seuss’s ‘Horton Hatches the Egg’, where Horton the elephant stays true to his word against all odds, we’re challenged to examine our own faithfulness to God. Pastor Michael shares that true faithfulness is a response to God’s unwavering commitment to us, not a reaction based on fear, feelings, or force. Through the Holy Spirit, we can cultivate faithfulness that reflects God’s love and serves as nourishment to others. This message will encourage you to discover what fuels your faithfulness and surrender your heart to a faithfulness that is both free and fruitful.Scripture References:Galatians 5:22-23 ESV2 Timothy 2:13 NLTDeuteronomy 7:9 NLT1 John 1:9 NLT1 Corinthians 10:13 NLTMatthew 25:23 NLT
Can you count it all joy, even in difficult situations? Are the people around you on Team Joy or Team Judgment? In Week 5 of the Receipts Series, Pastor Michael taught us how to identify the "joy jackers" in our lives—those people and things that try to pull us down to their level of discomfort. This message is a powerful reminder that Jesus is our true source of joy, a joy that can’t be suppressed by any situation.Scripture References:Galatians 5:22-23 ESVNehemiah 8:10 NIVJob 38:1-4 NLTJames 1:2-4 NKJV
God knew we needed strength, so He gave us joy through the Holy Spirit! While happiness is situational and shallow, the joy that the Lord gives is eternal and rooted in salvation. Each day, we must choose whether we will clothe ourselves in joy. Living IN-JOY enables us to truly enjoy life. Our prayer is that this message inspires you to shed the garment of judgment and live the joy of the Lord.Scripture References:Galatians 5:22-23 ESVPsalm 51:10-12 NIVNehemiah 8:10 NIVPsalm 16:11 NIV
When we hear the word "goodness," we often try to define it by our own standards. However, in Greek, goodness means "to do good," and it’s more than just an action—it’s an attitude and an attribute that reflects God's nature. Only God can set the true standard of goodness because He is good. In Week 3 of the Receipts Sermon Series, Pastor Mike teaches that our goodness is the evidence of a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. We hope this message inspires you to examine your motives and live out God’s goodness in all you do!Scripture References:Galatians 5:22-23 ESVGenesis 1:3-4 NLTPsalms 145:3 KJVExodus 33:18-20 NLTMatthew 25:21 NLTRomans 7:15-25 NIVGalatians 6:10 KJVPsalms 23:6 KJV
There’s one fruit of the Spirit that is essential for all the others to truly flourish in our lives—patience. In Week 2 of The Receipts sermon series, Pastor Mike delivered a powerful message on the importance of patience. While we often view patience as punishment, what if we began to see it as a pleasure? As we develop this fruit, we must learn to trust God's process and let Him cook!. We pray that this message encourages you to embrace the value of waiting and growing in the fruit of patience.Join Transformation Church for our Sunday experience. Do you have receipts? The Bible says that the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control. But can we produce receipts of those fruits in our lives? Today’s sermon encourages us to spend time in God’s Presence and make sure that his spirit is bearing healthy, ripe fruit in our lives. Scripture References:Matthew 7:16 Ephesians 2:8-9Romans 8:14 Galatians 5:22

In Week 6 of the Word of God Sermon Series, Pastor Charles walked us through Galatians 6 and taught us what to do when we feel empty. Sometime life circumstances and comparison can cause us to feel like we’ve run dry. Our soul was meant to only be fulfilled by Christ. If you’re in a place of feeling empty, serve, sow and take the next step that God is requiring of you.Scripture References:Galatians 6:1-5 NLTGalatians 5:26 NIV
We will always face an internal battle between our spirit and flesh. In Week 5 of the The Word of God series, Pastor Charles taught us how to win the battle with the power of God. If you want to beat yourself in the fight, you must flee the stupid, feel the Spirit and fix your thoughts. We hope this message encourages you, reminding you that God has given you the strength to become the best version of yourself.Scripture References:Galatians 5:16-17 NLTGalatians 5:1 NIVRomans 7:8-25 MSG2 Timothy 2:22 MSGPhilippians 4:8-9MSGGalatians 5:16-23 MSG
Are you staying in a child’s place? Pastor Roosevelt Stewart encouraged us to fully embrace our identity as children of God rather than children of the Law. Through our study of Galatians chapter 4, we were reminded of Jesus' sacrifice, which allows us to share in God’s sonship. To remain in the kingdom with the heart of a child, we must hold on to our inheritance, imagination, and innocence. We pray this message serves as a reminder of who you truly are and inspires you to use your faith to envision all that God has in store for your life!Scripture References:Galatians 4:1-7 NKJVGalatians 4:31 NKJVRomans 10:9 NKJVMark 11:23-24 NKJVHebrews 11:1 NKJV
Have you ever felt like you were held in custody by confusion? In Week 3 of The Word of God Series, Dr. Joel Tudman walked us through Galatians 3, where Paul corrected the church of Galatia for preaching the law when Christ had given us freedom through fulfilling the Word. We must be careful of whom we give our ear to, prioritize our relationship with God, and understand we have an unstoppable promise from Him. We pray this message encourages you to know God’s Word for yourself and reminds you of the grace and freedom we have in Christ! Scripture References:Galatians 3:1:29 ESVLuke 4:24-25 ESVMark 4:24-25 AMPC
Are you making space for more people at your table? In Week 2 of the Word of God series, we explored Galatians 2, where Paul confronts Peter for distancing himself from the Gentiles when his Jewish peers were present. Pastor Charles reminds us that, despite our differences, we can create room in our hearts and homes for others. He encourages us to set our tables by preparing for those who will come, being fully present with them, and praying for their needs.Scripture References:Galatians 2:1-21 NLT
Our Campus Pastor, Charles Metcalf, launched a new sermon series titled "The Word of God: The Book of Galatians." Over the next five weeks, we'll dive deeper in the Book of Galatians. Today’s message highlights why we can believe the Bible and reminds us that we are chosen through Paul’s teaching to the church. We pray this series inspires a deeper desire to know God through His Word.Scripture ReferencesIsaiah 40:8 ESVMatthew 7:24-27 ESV2 Timothy 3:16 NLTGalatians 1:1-24 NLTJohn 1:1-5 NLTJohn 1:14 NLT
WEEK 4: FRIENDS - PASTOR LYLE PHILLIPSPastor Lyle Phillips delivered a powerful message from 1 Samuel 1:1-20, using Hannah’s story to illustrate the theme of desperation. Despite being loved, Hannah felt barren and prayed desperately for a child, especially in comparison to her fruitful counterpart, Peninnah. Pastor Lyle emphasized that in times of desperation, we may face distractions such as competition, comparison, well-meaning people, and even a double portion, but true desperation leads to breakthroughs when we keep pursuing God. This desperation can drive us closer to God, resulting in blessings that should enhance our fellowship with Him, not diminish it. We pray this message reminds us to maintain our fervor and recognize the blessings that come from desperately pursuing God.Scripture References1 Samuel 1:1-20 ESV
Understanding God's will can be simpler than we think. Dr. Anita Phillips teaches that pain and distress don't always mean something isn't His will. Like Gideon, we often seek constant signs due to fear and imposter syndrome. However, these signs won't address the deeper issues in our hearts. Instead, we should let God transform us internally and seek His wisdom, especially for big decisions, as wisdom guides us better than signs. We need maturity and courage to act on what we already know is right, just as Jesus did in the garden. By asking for wisdom, strength, and courage, we grow in faith and understanding, progressing from spiritual "milk" to "meat," which fosters true spiritual growth and alignment with God's plans. We pray this message helps you grow in your walk with Christ. Scripture References1 Thessalonians 5:16-21 KJV Judges 6 & 7 Matthew 12:38 Proverbs 3 Hebrews 5:11-14 Matthew 16:21
WEEK 2: FRIENDS - BISHOP KEVIN WALLACEWe all have a promise to birth on this earth. As we prepare for our miracles, it's crucial to maintain intimacy with God and trust in His faithfulness. Bishop Kevin Wallace reminds us that, like Elizabeth naming John despite others' opinions, we must not let anyone control what they haven't carried. Stay focused on God's word and His plan for you. We pray this message helps you stay aligned with God's promises.Scripture ReferencesLuke 1:5-14 NKJVLuke 1:57-66 NKJV

When your world feels like it’s shattering and being burned to the ground, hold on—there’s another chapter! Pastor Travis Green walks us through the story of David and Ziklag, illustrating how even our seasons of stability can be unexpectedly disrupted. When this happens, we must encourage ourselves in the Lord as David did because God has far greater plans than the crumbled Ziklags we may see before us. We pray this message helps you to persevere and see that your calling is waiting on the other side of your discomfort!Scripture References1 Samuel 30:3-4 MEVGalatians 6:9 KJVPsalm 34:1 NKJV

How is a person saved before he is immersed for the forgiveness of his sins? you save that you stlaved at 5 min into your talk and then you say you want the people to become alive through baptism??? So are they dead in their salvation and then only made alive after baptism. I would agree with the second that you are made alive through baptism and it is through baptism that you are saved 1 Pet 3:21, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Matt 26:28 the blood of Chrost is for the remission of sins which = salvation. Baptism is for the remission of your sins which = baptism. Gal 3:27 says that you are baptized into Christ. just like Romans 6:3-7 you are baptized into Christ. where is the grace of God? Eph 2:6-7, 2 Tim 2:1 in Christ. who is the grace of God for? Col 1:1-2 to the saints that are in Christ. I believe everyone should've walked out after you had given them the invitation to do so if you are not preaching the word. There is no sinners prayer that saves you in the word of God. Thus it is a teac
