Nelson Mandela said, "Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world." I believe that absolutely and I want to share that message. I have taught in college now for more than five decades. I have written two free books on teaching: Transformative Education (https://scholarship.richmond.edu/bookshelf/375/) and Tips and Thoughts on Improving the Teaching Process in College -- A Personal Diary. Every teacher should seek steady improvement, but that goal requires ambition and experimentation. Show you have both by trying something creative and new. Start by finding a good point within the learning process and making a change. The possibilities are unlimited but simply encouraging students to be better prepared for class is a good place to get started.
