This week, we take a look at two pretty singular individuals who might have been better off staying single. First up, Alicia has the shockingly trashy story of American architectural master Frank Lloyd Wright. This one really has everything: tons of dirtbag behavior, horrific true crime, and another one of those “great men” whose personal lives are garbage. In a similar vein, Stacie remembers the 2009 cheating scandal that temporarily swamped golf legend-in-his-own-time Tiger Woods. No, he wasn’t cheating at golf. He was cheating on his wife, with basically every woman he’d ever met. Once the news broke, wife Elin Nordegren may or may not have taken out her rage with a golf club to their Cadillac Escalade. Welcome to the end of Season 5 and another host’s choice edition of Trashy Divorces! Stacie has the surprising and sad tale of model Anna Nicole Smith, whose Playboy notoriety, marriage to a billionaire octogenarian, and sometimes inexplicable life choices made her catnip to the tabloids and someone who was relatable to millions when she died. Then Alicia has the story of Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner. They divorced, but found a way to put it all back together again – at least until Natalie’s untimely death at the age of 43. Alicia has the sordid story of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low, whose husband moved his mistress into their shared home. Stacie has the shocking violence in the long relationship between current exes, Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog. Need some extra distraction lately? It’s all Judy Garland, all the time! This week, Stacie kicks us off with the mysterious and incredibly brief marriage between actress Renee Zellweger (who just won Best Actress for Judy) and country star Kenny Chesney. They tied the knot after knowing each other just five months, and when Renee filed to annul the marriage for “fraud” four months later, the media turned an ugly eye to Kenny. Then, Alicia has the heartbreaking story of Trashy Divorces All-Star Judy Garland, whose five marriages and four divorces were probably a predictable outcome of the horrifying ways she was mistreated as a child. The Mia Farrow-Frank Sinatra marriage and divorce is a story with surprising right-now resonance. Alicia shares the tale of how a very young Mia Farrow met and fell in love with Frank, who was expecting a very different kind of wife than he got. There’s also a cat. Then, Stacie brings us the story of another Trashy Divorces All-Star, Larry King, whose seven wives, eight marriages, and, now, eight divorces make him a real contender for some kind of themed prize we’re planning on inventing at some point. This week, Stacie dives into Rat Pack friend Shirley MacLaine and her 28-year-long marriage to Steve Parker. Spoiler: The revelations that set off the divorce are out of this world! Then, Alicia brings us the story of a genuine Trashy Divorces All Star: Zsa Zsa Gabor, and her eight to ten (?) husbands. Some are more notable than others, but all are part of the Zsa Zsa mystique. Welcome back! Have you ever wondered how the men of the Rat Pack developed their sense of style? In our eighth episode of Ocean’s Eleven: 12 Degrees of Frank Sinatra, Alicia shares the strange but true life story of international man of mystery, James Bond inspiration, and husband to two American heiresses (among a few other women) Porfirio Rubirosa, the most famous person you’ve probably never heard of. Then, Stacie has an Atlanta hometown with the sordid tale of Atlanta Brave David Justice and his short-lived marriage to Academy Award winner Halle Berry back in the go-go 1990s. Sinatra was a big booster for Ronald Reagan as California governor, part of Sinatra’s own shift from Democratic to Republican politics. This week in our Ocean’s Eleven: 12 Degrees of Frank Sinatra season, Stacie has the 1940-1949 marriage and divorce of Academy Award winning actress Jane Wyman and future president Ronald Reagan. Then, Alicia has the incredible life and loves of icon and trailblazer Diahann Carroll, a friend and frequent performing partner of the Rat Pack. This week in our Ocean’s Eleven season, we take a look at the two Tess Oceans. In 1960, the Rat Pack – plus Angie Dickinson – starred in a heist flick called Ocean’s 11. In 2001, a more modern set of actors, including Julia Roberts, built a new Ocean’s franchise. Both women portrayed mastermind Danny Ocean’s estranged or former wife. Alicia has all the Rat Pack details of screen legend Angie Dickinson’s marriage to and divorce from musician and songwriter Burt Bacharach. Stacie has Julia Roberts’s early forays into love, including her short marriage to musician and actor Lyle Lovett. Can’t get enough #trashcandy? You can’t talk Sinatra without eventually talking about some Kennedy trash, so in week four of Ocean's Eleven: 12 Degrees of Frank Sinatra, Alicia brings us the first ever Kennedy divorce. Patricia Kennedy Lawford, sister to JFK, RFK, and Ted, married Hollywood heartthrob Peter Lawford and probably expected he'd settle down. He did not, and after years of putting up with his addictions and affairs, she divorced him in 1966. Then, Stacie has Kennedy Divorces: The Next Generation, with the extremely trashy behavior of bodybuilder, actor, and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, before and during his 25-year-long marriage to Maria Shriver, niece of JFK, RFK, Ted, and Patricia. Did you stock up on soap? You may want to run to the store, because you're going to feel dirty after this one. Can't get enough #trashcandy? Mike Redmond writing at NickiSwift.com has so many details about Arnold's trashy life, but especially David Pecker's apparent extortion of him on behalf of AMI/The National Enquirer. Some things never change, I guess.
Alicia’s been tangling the web, but you may not be ready for the trashy affair, marriage, affairs, and divorce of Frank Sinatra and his second wife, movie legend Ava Gardner. It’s our third installment of Ocean’s 11: Twelve Degrees of Frank Sinatra, and this one’s got all the #trashcandy. Then, it’s Dolly Parton’s birthday today, and to honor the queen of our hearts, we get into the start of her career, when country superstar Porter Wagoner plucked her from obscurity to be his “Girl Singer.” Seven years later, her split from him drove him off the stage and into a courtroom, but Dolly would always love him anyway. For our second dive into the Ocean's Eleven: 12 Degrees of Frank Sinatra season, Stacie has the Rat Pack-adjacent comedian and original King of Late Night, Johnny Carson. He was a private person who was possibly America's most beloved and public figure for three decades. His three divorces – and final, apparently happy marriage, reveal the split-screen that was his life. Then, Alicia has the tragic early years of Ava Gardner: her rural North Carolina upbringing, her discovery by the MGM star machine, and her first marriages, to Mickey Rooney and Artie Shaw. It's all prelude to her final, tumultuous marriage to Sinatra, which is coming up later this season. Can't get enough #trashcandy? It’s the #trashpack, y'all! For our fifth season launch, Alicia is deep-diving into Frank Sinatra’s trashy life and loves. This week we kick off with Ol’ Blue Eyes’s first marriage and divorce to Nancy Barbato; Nancy Senior, if you will. Are you ready for "Ocean’s 11: 12 Degrees of Frank Sinatra?" Then, Stacie has the surprisingly trashy tale of Charles Dickens's public abandonment of his wife of 22 years and the secret, 13-year-long affair that he conducted with a young actress throughout the rest of his life. Turns out that so-called "Great Men" only hold up if their followers are willing to keep their secrets. Hello, and welcome to our season four closer and our last (regular) episode of 2019! This week, Alicia has the true crime story of Christmas crooner Andy Williams and his marriage to, divorce from, and defense of his ex-wife, alleged murderer Claudine Longet. Then, Stacie has the dirty details of Tommy Mattola's pursuit of and marriage to superstar Mariah Carey, with proof that a castle alone isn’t enough to hang onto a queen. Alicia got some sad news this week, so we’re hopping into our time machine and heading back to merry olde England, circa 1560, to take a look at the original Staircase Murder. During the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, Bess held the affection of many men, but pony boy Robert Dudley found his feelings reciprocated. Until his wife Amy Robsart was found dead at the foot of a staircase, that is. An innocent accident, or something much darker? Alicia has all the deets. I absolutely adore this podcast. It's a wonderful way for me to satiate my need for celebrity junk food without all the BS that usually goes along with it. In regards to all the haters in the comments, if you don't like the delivery or content, listen to something else and/or do your own podcast. If Stacie or Alicia seem to be disliking someone in a story, it's usually because they're an asshole, not a man. There are plenty of stories where they sympathize with men. (Bruce Willis anyone?)

I listened to 2 episodes. The gist of the running theme is men are selfish and bad and women are pure and victims. This definition is true even when both sexes have done the exact same thing. (i.e. Man cheats "OMG. What a creep". Woman cheats "Mazel tov. Spread your wings girl" 🙄) Too bad. This could have been a cool premise but not if the people behind it aren't honest.

Hi Ladies, I've not been listening long but the few I've listened are bananas. I do have a concern about S1 E12 Zelda. You are so emotionally invested in Zelda that you ruined the story for me. I got impatient with your endless rants. I deleted the story and move on to the next episode.
