Travels with Miriam

No idea what's in this show, if anything. I know I was hyped up because I had sent stickers to Hyphonix, but he either never got them, or opened them off-stream, so I was bummed out that I didn't get any free promotion for the show (hey, I had to try!). Christmas only got worse for me later on that weekend, so in hindsight, it really wasn't the shitty show that I thought it was when it happened. It's a great example of poorly laid plans and a blow to one's ego (mine). I lightly edited it, removing around 20 minutes of banter and the set-up regarding why I was watching another streamer work his magic while doing my own show. Preserved with the fireplace audio intact, as well, since it added some ambiance to the whole thing.

I spent more time fiddling with the encoder to get a reasonably sized mp3 out of this than it should have taken. Completely unedited, aside from silences being truncated. Appears to have been a 9-hour long show, so be in for some ringing phones and other nonsense. 4 solid hours of non-stop phone confusion!

In this final episode of Travels with Miriam/Community Calls, we dialed up Japan hotels and made a mess of things. We sing the Pengu Penisu song multiple times, and get at least one person to sing along This is minimally-edited, and low-quality due to various technical issues that were plaguing things at the time of recording. Recorded 30-31 January 2021

Our host for our phone dialing machine went down during the recording of this show, so only 2 new calls are in the episode. We decided to suck it up and do a clip show for nearly 3 hours. This show is mostly unedited, to preserve the confusion and anger at our web host, for eternity. In this episode, we are introduced to the official mascot of Immoral Juice - Downy The Clown. Downy makes some calls while DTB has an encounter in the parking lot with THE CREATURE. This is a fun, action-packed episode with lots of different types of calls throughout as well as soundscape/audio collages designed to introduce Downy into the storyline. We also did some weird faxes with duck parts on them, resulting in some very odd calls.

We are Immoral Juice. This episode continues our adventures in Immoral things to sell to customers. We call about the flyer our company sent out to stores to show off the new merchandise. We call up unsuspecting hotels in Japan to try and solve Aquatic Crimes, as well as other odd calls to various places throughout the world. This is a heavily community-involved episode, with many members doing calls and helping Akspa out with the calls throughout the entire show.
