Jacques Barth has a lot of experience doing multi centre studies. In this podcast he explains how he came to the idea of TreeGenes, a observational research into the long-lastig effects of Holocaust trauma on the offspring of victims. The interview focusses on the physical impact of trauma.

De studie richt zich op de fysieke gevolgen van de Shoah/Holocaust op het leven van kinderen van Holocaust overlevenden, de zogenaamde Tweede Generatie. Het is het eerste wetenschappelijk onderzoek op dit terrein dat in Nederland wordt verricht en uniek in zijn soort omdat de verhalen van leden van de Tweede Generatie worden meegewogen in het geheel van het onderzoek.
