I agree with the book guy. I can't hold a characters name for more than a few pages, sometimes an author will reintroduce a character a few chapters down the line and I'll have to back track to a previous scenario. I can't keep track of what's going on and who's who while also moving my eyes and visualizing what's going on, books are confusing. Audio books aren't so bad, it's like listening to a podcast, the reading aspect is less physical and more relaxing and mental. Maybe it's got to do with my chronic illness but reading is just too much work. Love me a good book but can't handle the emotional separation that comes on after the end of a good series, it breaks me everytime.
Fairly certain the reason people get the ability to feel magnetic fields from the magnetic implant is due to the tiniest tugging theyll feel. They might not notice the tug but the nerves in our body are extremely sensitive and even more so in the fingers. The mind may not interpret the tugging as a tug but instead a feeling as if they can suddenly feel a connection with magnetic fields but its probably just the body saying "hey something up in that direction"
