Main part of this episode was back during Christmas time when I got put into the Ghetto Truck from hell. However, after some RL issues my wife was having with a coworker, I decided to go back over the road, and bring her along for the ride. Including our lazy dog.

In this episode I get to return to a shipper that scared me during my first week solo. I finally got to use Personal Conveyance to get back to the terminal after sitting at a customer all day. Then someone stole my loaded trailer and made my life a living hell. I Rick Roehled Mathew for being late and in the news I talk about an FM message demanding that the fleet drives in snow. I also respond to your feedback.
Welcome to season 2. We start off with some scary situations that ended up breaking down the truck. We have also added 2 new segments to the show. First one is called Rick Roehled and is a rosting of sorts. The second is a news segment and will have news stories that I feel like covering.
Week 30 - What a short week and podcast. Lost my good mug at a shipper, applied for the local position, and got a phone interview. I am a local driver now. So now the future looks bright and I reflect on my 30 weeks of OTR.
Week 29 - Week started off real good with maxing out my clock and getting laundry done. All of a sudden my truck dash camera fell down and I had to get it fixed. Snuck in a night with the wife and got really ahead of schedule. Then it all went downhill when they slipped me an extra local load in St. Louis. So, ended up getting home late Sunday afternoon.
Week 28 - Week started slowly with small loads and I ended up with the trailer I dropped in Kansas. A young forklift operator decided to trash my trailer and gouged the hell out of the trailer floor. Then the week went to hell as I injured myself and waited hours for a pickup number. So I took it slow and got to got home early on Friday night.
Week 27 - Found out someone was in my truck while on hometime and it was unsettling. Then the mystery was solved and turns out I am driving in a sold truck. Had a nice full day of driving and getting miles down. For my Birthday I got to run over frogs playing Frogger and got a new truck. Then ... I get drunk.
Week 26 - Detours, Almost Illegal, and traffic "Oh My". Time to go to New England from Kunttucky and dodge hitchhiker's in the Appalachian Mountains. Had my first scratch and run and saw a UPS truck flipped over. Light load heading west and I flew over the mountains faster than an eagle. Another long week ended and I think a change is in the future.
Week 25 - Wow, I can not believe we made it this far. This is a special episode this week where I take you all along for the journey. This is kind of a vlog without the video. It is also an experiment to see if I am going to integrate this style into the podcast. I personally would like to thank you all for making this podcast what it has become. Without "You" the listeners, I would have dropped this idea after the first few episodes. The podcast continues to grow in listenership and I never expected it to get as many as it has. So again, "Thank You"!!!
Week 24 - My truck gets high smoking up to 420K miles and I get a blow job from the ghetto train. Fall seems to be coming early and the stars are nice in the Upper Peninsula. However after getting stuck behind a slow tractor, I decided it is time for some kind of change. I decided that it was time to get a lot in Arizona.
Week 23 - A good way to start the week is late and overweight. Ended up going to Pennsylvania and discovered the world of tight roads and turns without lube. My truck decided to leak out all it's power steering fluid and I watched a guy ram another truck. To end the week I got 3 short haul loads.
Week 22 - You know the week is off to a good start when you drive 100 miles empty and 20 loaded. In St. Louis I get a truckload of hangovers and clean up. Now the miles are coming, getting no sleep, and having long drive nights. With more miles I am eating good and having fun long night drives. Feels good to have a good drive week that uses up my 70hr clock. It has been a while since I got to hammer down all week. After talking about, it I finally made an Intro/Outro for the podcast.
Week 21 - This week is off to a slow start as I have no workflow to get it started. Then it happened, I did a noob mistake as I got East and West confused. Ended up in Appleton on Wednesday night, met some really cool drivers, and had a wonderful time hanging out. I just love it when retarded drivers just stand still for you to hit them and customers charge Drop Fees. To finnish this slow week off, I go to pickup the load and the shipper has no product.
Week 20 - Let's get the week started with a trailer that has a bad glad hand, off tracking to the left, and has a light hanging by a wire. Finally got my PC fixed so I can start working on an intro for the podcast, got another bad trailer, and solved my FM situation. I70 has gone mad, however glad they are cleaning it up. On Thursday nothing exciting, boaring day. This week I quit smoking and learned some new tricks.
Week 19 - I finally did it, got my first HOS violation thanks to my slow new Fleet Manager. While on my load on Tuesday my Fleet Manager changes my workflow 4 times while in transit and can't make up his mind. When getting an empty at Gary I get the trailer nobody loved and had to bring it in for a lot of TLC. By Thursday I reached the point of Eff everything & everyone. For getting home on Friday night I had to play Dirty and pretend to find an empty.
Week 18 - Got to a customer with low HOS and they let me drop the trailer overnight. When behind schedule sometimes it is best to end the day early to save time. For the first time I saw one of our own on the side of the interstate. While driving north on I94 north of Cicago I almost hit me a big Traffic Cone. Then when heading south on I94 we get taken on a very confusing Detour. To finish the week off I got to see what it is like to be a local driver. We also saw The Lion King and I give my review.
Week 17 - Took my epic break to recharge my Mind, Body, & Soul. Started the week Wednesday evening & headed to OH to get some free cat food. Annoying fog kept fogging up my windows in Tennessee and I get to Jonson City where a guy is waving No Trucks to me. I learn to take the advice of traffic boards or otherwise you may end up violating your clock.
Week 16 - Playing the 4hr wait to be unloaded game again and picked up a trailer with tires that where ready to gator skin. Truck stops are not filling up this holiday week. Got to go Fargo North Dakota and get me a questionable hazardous load. Happy 4th of July with low traffic, ez loads, and a story from a year ago. I am so pissed off at dispatch for not planning me home for the weekend that all I wanted to do was run over pets. Finally get a load home, however I am running out of time on my 70. I think it is time for a break and recharge.
Week 15 - I learned to avoid Cincinnati around 1700 if you are down to 3 hours. I explain my difficulty passing while maintaining the 7 seconds following distant rule. I met a receiver who hates is job and had an attitude problem. Thanks to Chicago I run out of HOS and got stuck at the customer in the rain. I finally adress the issue with the Straight Bill Of Lading, explaining that some are Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender. Then to finish the week I run over deer guts and do some shopping at Bass Pro.
Week 14 - Got to do a 90 off the street & get yelled at for arriving early. Then BOOM ... it happened. Took a long drive to Richmond Virginia and gave my truck a bath in the rain. As a bonus segment I talk about #FreightGate2019. For the first day of summer I get a head start for hometime. However hometime was late due to not finding an empty quickly.
