I hate jumping into podcasts without listening to them from the beginning and when podcasts that are supposed to be great keep their early episodes behind a paywall they just alienate lots of potential listeners. I'd love to do nothing more than to binge this for weeks but now I probably will never listen to a single episode.

Unsubbed because of this episode. Despite previous episodes handling the issue of sex work with a modicum of respect, the word "hooker" is used multiple times here. There are also several aspersions made regarding Courtney Love, both regarding her motivations to be with Kurt Cobain and - most insultingly - the scent of her anatomy, which is wholly unprofessional and infantile. If indeed she is innocent of any wrongdoing (and many of her actions have been interpreted with a solely masculine gaze: I for one see her instructing the PI not to talk to Kurt because she was worried about him and didn't know where he was: as long as she knows where he is and he's not hurt she was content to give him his space), you're discussing the intimate anatomy of a widow with implied disdain. I checked out this podcast because of a recommendation on another True Crime podcast: I was expecting something similarly 'woke' in terms of respecting people and have been truly disappointed in this case. Summary of the episodes thus far: two guys drink beer and summarise a case, often disagreeing about minutiae. Then they present their viewpoints as though they are undeniable fact for the majority of the episode. It becomes grating to listen to after a while, it feels like you're being argued with just while listening to the podcast. I do not like the cut of their jib. I'll be giving this one a miss and I won't miss it one bit. Grow up, gentlemen: you're older than I am and still talk about women (whom are often called "girls" in the podcast) like you're twelve. Yuck.

Hi there you two. Just a few quick thought. I remember listening to Payne's podcast about this investigation. I may have this incrorrect but I seem to remember he talked about a bond fire at this time on the pecan property. This was a gathering of folks who were not part of the investigation but that Ryan and Bo knew. With the info gleaned from U'al I have a possibility theory. Since the health of Ryan seems to be serious. Could he possible know he hasn't long to live and is taking the fall complete? I also wonder if Ryan is getting health care in jail better than he previously received? Great to listen to a pick up to Payne's podcast. Thanks.

It will be interesting to hear your perspective on this terrible murder as 'Up and Vanished' did an extensive series about Tara Grinstead.

I've been wanting ya'll to do Tara's case for so long! I live 10 minutes from Ocilla so I know some of the people involved. 😊

Seriously, there aren't any interesting true crimes in the past decade, y'all had to go into the past century and present a story no one gives a crap about?

Hi Nic & Captain! You two sweet, corn fed, Midwest boys make listening to true crime podcasts while I work at my house cleaning job.... wait...(side note* I never know what kind of troubles my clients "friends"/enemies/family/whomever might have with them, and that I could possibly be caught in those crosshairs whilst alone with headphones on in their homes.. eek)..... back to it, you two "dude bros" make my job fly right by, and your tipsy voices are like a blanket of security, and I think you guys are pretty great. Now wish me luck on not getting murdered in one of clients houses by some old scorned ex lover, but if I do, do a true crime garage podcast about it... 😉😁... cheers fellas! 🍻❤

Listen to the Sherman muders. I read about this for a week. Then lost track of the reports. So was pleased to hear about the progress. I didn't think that Cary did it. Had there adult children been questioned? I thought the police started with the family. U'al do a good job presenting cases. Colonel Sir I am perplexed about your sense of humor. I have laughed at the Caption's rhetorical sense of humor. Sir so many times the Captain has presented a theory or remark, which was a off the cuff comment. I mean this with love not as criticism Captain. What I'm hearing is a joke However, Colonel you miss it every time. You usually pause after the remark then continue talking. As if it went over your head. Relaxs, U'al sound far above par. After listening to you I'm spoiled and really have lost interest and other such podcast. Thanks Nelle
