Description

Truth is stranger than fiction...and reality tv stars know this better than anyone. They are personally intertwined with the world’s most extraordinary happenings, mysterious people and bizarre crimes than anyone else.

The truth is, while being a reality star and putting their lives out there does have its perks, it also makes them an easy target and more susceptible to criminal behavior.

That’s why so many reality stars have a story…it happened to them, their friend, their family…a house break-in, a hostage situation, adultery, kidnapping, armed robbery, financial scams, paternity fraud, identity theft and even murder.

Each week on the ‘True Crime - Reality’ Caelynn Miller-Keyes (Bachelor) will be joined by a reality star as they dive deep into the details of a crime they have a direct connection to. The who, the what, the why and the what ‘were they thinking?!’

True Crime and all it’s darkest secrets, are about to get a taste of reality.

“Melania” hit theaters nationwide on Friday and the reviews are in… and they aren’t kind.  With no advance screeners before its opening, this is the first time we are hearing from the critics about what they think of Amazon’s 40 millions dollar documentary on the First Lady, and they are not shy about their disdain for the film.  Meantime audience reviews are at an all time high which is mirroring early box office numbers that show “Melania” is on its way to exceeding expectations.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
So many of us are devastated and surprised to hear the news that 71 year old Cathrine O’Hara suddenly died after what officials are calling “a brief illness.”  Although O’Hara missed the Golden Globes after being nominated for her role in “The Studio” there was no indication she was ill.  Beloved and honored for her role as Moira Rose in “Schitts Creek”, O’Hara is also being remembered by those who worked and loved her throughout her 50 plus year career from the “Home Alone” movies, to “Beetlejuice” and so much more.       See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Two very different closing arguments in the double murder trial of Brendan Banfield.  The defense ended strong, poking holes in the au pair’s testimony, saying none of it can be trusted, first because she has every incentive to cooperate with the prosecution and second, because the digital forensics don’t support the au pair’s and prosecution’s catfishing narrative.  The prosecution sped though their closing, going through the evidence they presented, point by point, finishing in less than 20 minutes.  There was no storytelling and little emotion, and ended with this conclusion: either you believe the au pair or you believe Brendan Banfield. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Both the defense and the prosecution have finished calling their final witnesses, and what a day in court!  The cross examination of accused double murderer Brendan Banfield, along with the defense rebuttal,  exposed some uncomfortable testimony. Banfield alleged his now deceased wife Christine had more than one BDSM affair and an obsession with sexual assault. Meantime the prosecution tried to score points with its rebuttal witnesses, including Banfield’s former manager. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

One of the most riveting days in court so far, as double murder defendant Brendan Banfield took the stand in his own defense.  The 40 year old former IRS agent testified about his marriage, his multiple affairs,  and said the notion that he would plan to kill his wife after a 6-8 week relationship with the family au pair “absolutely crazy.”   Amy and T.J. discuss the major inroads the defense made today and what they think of Banfield’s testimony.”See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
