For years, there has been a market for “bad news.” Starting about 25 years ago, there were increasing numbers of websites, email newsletters, and eventually podcasts (audio and then video) that fed an increasing appetite for the bad news of the day. For the most part, hope could only be found with a political solution. The COVID Pandemic put the bad news craze on steroids. Platforms like Rumble exploded with crazy and often inaccurate content.
