Tucson Tales | A love letter to the second largest city in the Grand Canyon State, and the largest city in southern Arizona
The Tucson Tales podcast is a love letter to the second largest city in the Grand Canyon State, and the largest city in southern Arizona.
We explore the history, the people, and the stories from ancient times to the present. Tucson is rich with diverse cultures, events, and people. What better way to pay tribute to the things that we love than to podcast about them.
I came to Tucson for college. Back then, in the 1970s, Tucson had about 225,000 people in the metropolitan area. It was very diverse with Mexican Americans, native Americans, African Americans, Chinese, and students at the University of Arizona from many countries.
Here is my new podcast, Tucson Tales. I want to share with you all of the things about Tucson that I love. I may also share some of the things I don’t like, although right off the top of my head nothing is coming to mind. And yes, some of its history. We’re talking a few hundred years ago type history.
